Great price for a lot of these tough little clips!
These are a sewing game changer!! I started sewing bags and these have strength to hold multiple layers firmly (i have pushed to the limit on a couple very thick layers and havent broke one yet, lol). They work equally well holding two thin fabrics firmly as well. I am a clip convert! Pins still have their place in my sewing but i will reach for these clips first now! Cheerful colors too and a cute lidded tin to hold them (no dents as previous reviewers mentioned).

Nice sewing clips
The size, quality, and cost were all good. I only tend to work on one or two things at once, so I don't need a ton of clips, but I have more than enough for peace of mind that I won't run out.Like others, the tin they came in was slightly dented on arrival, but that didn't affect the clips inside, so no problem here.

Bye bye, pins! Hello, useful and convenient timesaver!
I absolutely love these clips! I purchased mine about 10 months ago and use them all the time. I don’t use pins for my sewing projects anymore, unless I have to because of the location being secured. Clips make the task of “pinning” easier and faster, and will make it less painful if you tend to poke yourself with sharp pins.As a sewing instructor, I share my favorite (and not-so-favorite) notions with students, giving them an opportunity to try different things. Without fail, beginner and experienced sewers alike have been hooked once they use these clips!Clips are especially helpful when teaching children to sew, because the focus can be more on the actual sewing skills they are learning, rather than worrying about getting stuck with pins. (There will be plenty of time to deal with pesky pins later.)The storage tin is a nice addition that is cute, practical, and sturdy. Mine has held up well, not only to regular home use, but to being thrown in my sewing supplies bags many dozens of times to travel back and forth to work and classes. I’m ordering another tinful to leave in the classroom at work, so I’ll never be without them when sewing.I highly recommend clips for everyone who sews. I consider them a basic notion now, like pins and a seam ripper, and this tinful of clips is a great value.

Perfect size and work great for masks.
I purchased the clicks as an alternative to pins. I have been making masks with only a few pins and was looking to purchase more when I saw these clips. After some research and thought they looked pretty helpful.WOW!!! They arrived safely, in my mailbox the following day as advertised. The Teddy Bear tin they came in is adorable and arrived without damage. The tin was a bit difficult to open the first few times, but I have Arthritis and a weak grip, and after a few openings it seamed to be easier to open. The clips are Fantastic! The colors are cheerful and they work so much better than pins. Especially for masks, as you don't want little pin holes in the fabric that the virus could easily go through. There are only a few blue is my only complaint, and that doesn't interfere with how they work. They are extremely useful and much safer than pins. They are the perfect size for what will be using them for. They do have larger ones available and I will not hesitate to purchase them if needed for thicker projects.Thank you.

Nice but…
The clips are perfect and pricing is great, the lid is left much to be desired. If I was the seller, either get the container taller to accommodate the amount but smaller in width to allow the ease of opening it. I’ve tried to open it without having the clips go flying everywhere and couldn’t. I ended up moving the clips to another storage and will repurpose it as a candle.

Thumbs up!
These are great value. Have been keeping an eye out for good quality, affordable version of these for long time. This is it.These perform the task they are designed to do & do it very well.Having seen reviews mentioning breakage... All I can figure is that they must have been pinching/squeezing VERY hard... Perhaps trying to fit more than these are built to take? (Maybe trying to clip thickness of binding rather than piecing?)The stiff feel on these does NOT require a heavy hand to open them adequately for appropriate use. Little pressure is needed actually.Used appropriately, The grip is very strong, nice & tight. I am reaching for these regularly in the sewing room since the day they came!I will be keeping mine in the tin they came in. It is perfectly sized and the lid stays on securely & comes off without spilling everywhere.

Useful Alternative to Pins
The clips are fast to place, as fast as pinning a seam. They do add a small amount of weight, which can be an advantage in certain circumstances. I sew garments, mend things, and knit. I don't have quilting experience. They are easy to use with fussy, slippery fabrics such as rayon georgette, silk satin, and silk voile. They also don't poke holes in delicate fabrics. They hold pretty firmly, strong enough to stay in place (mostly) but not so strong they emboss fabric. I haven't left them clipped to fabric for more than 2 hours so I don't know if they might mark something delicate if left clipped on for days. Sometimes I start with the clips and end up replacing them with pins.I use them to mark alterations on myself. For the most part they don't pop off, and I like that I'm not sticking myself with pins. They're not a replacement for pins, they're an alternative tool. I occasionally use them in knitting projects too.The clips smelled strongly of cheap perfume and had a greasy coating when they arrived. I soaked them in hot water and dish detergent, rinsed them several times, and spread them out to dry. All traces of odor and grease were gone after washing them. The tin is not to my taste, but that was easy enough replace with another container.
