First one would not seal, they immediately shipped another, and ALL IS WELL!!! A+
After my initial issue with the first, they setup shipping of a second the same day I requested a return, and the replacement arrived and is WONDERFUL AWESOME!

Works well but could be better (all Foodsavers)
Like the size and features, but it suffers from the same old problems. If the food is too wet ( like fish filets), to much moisture gets vacuumed and the bag won’t seal properly. I have to put a paper towel in the bag at the top to make it work. I just don’t remember this problem with the older models. Get the carry bag. It’s great.

Great product and value. You can do several seals after another no problem, much better than our first Food Saver.

Upgraded
Been vacuum packaging for a while "8 plus years now" with a food saver mini. Upgraded to this because I began to cook sous vide, and now I'm kicking myself on not upgrading sooner. This works great.

LOVE IT!!!
LOVE IT!!! I get ribs and tri-tip and seal it up - lasts SO much longer than in regular packaging. Unit is sturdy and even runs off of 12v so when I'm camping I can seal up leftovers or fish caught while on the trip!

It’s terrible sealing anything fresh
I wish I could go to negative stars. I can’t stand this thing. It’s marketed as a “catch fish at the dock and seal on your tailgate”. No way. This thing can’t seal anything fresh.Green beans direct out of the garden. Nope. Fresh chicken. Nope. Corn fresh out of the garden. Nope. Fresh fish just filleted?? No way.ANYTHING that has any moisture at all sucks out of the item and out the top of the bag. Then the seal won’t seal because the bag is wet.Called the manufacturer. They said “oh no, you have to pre-freeze the item first to dry it out THEN vacuum seal it. What?? How is that fresh out of the water on the tailgate of your truck??I’ve had it 2 years. I get mad everytime I use it. I just used it again tonight for corn. And nope. The corn is now in the freezer “pre-freezing”. Seems against the whole point of vacuum sealing. I wish I had just saved my money and bought a chamber vac unit.Save your money. Keep on scrolling.
