Large magnet is N42 small and medium are N45

Q: What is the finish on these? Gold-tone or silver? I can't tell from the photos.

More silver than gold though not as silver as real silver. The upside is that I’ve worn these with silver and with gold and it goes well with both.

The width of the button is a bit over an inch. But since you are asking the measurement once everything is put together, I'm wondering if you meant to ask for the depth. From front to back, it is a half inch.

Yes. I ised it for the neck tie. It holds strong. You have to slide it to open.
