The Boys' Guide to Growth Mindset: A Can-Do Approach to Building Confidence, Resilience, and Courage Review: A great thought provoking book - I have a GAT step son who has ALWAYS struggled with quitting right away. I decided to purchase this book for him because he loves books.. and like most kids he listens to other people must faster than he listens to his own parents. He wasnt extremely interested in all of the activities because he hates ‘busy’ work but he did read through every bit of the book and has been really working on his growth mindset. So much so that he is now capable of hitting a baseball during coach pitch, and has also started trying to ride his bike. 10/10 recommend for a kid who is gifted and talented and struggles with giving up easily and not having grit. It’s also been nice to be able to say ‘remember in your book about adding the word yet.. to the end of your can’t statement?’ Anyways it was a great read and very helpful in understanding how I can help change his mindset without tears and crying, and it also has been helpful to him because he has a better understanding of why sometimes his mindset is fixed and how to change it. Review: A Must Have Raising A Boy - Absolutely love reading this book with my 9 year old son. It’s very easy to understand and my son enjoys the activities

Great if you’re willing to support
Let’s be honest. There aren’t too many boys, who fall I tot he appropriate age group for this book, who are going to willingly read it and follow through with exercises, etc. So we decided to make it a family project and it’s been amazing! Our son enjoys the learning but I think he loves it more because we’re doing it with him. The content is dead on and so useful. But don’t buy it unless you’re committed to walking the walk, as they say.

Knowledge
Very easy to read and under. I’m a single mother and this is definitely a nice way to teach your growing boys.
