I had a beloved down comforter from Pottery Barn, and I used it every winter for many years. Then I got a puppy... who peed on it not once, but twice! So I decided once it was dry cleaned for the second time that I just wasn't taking any more chances. Then warm weather came and I didn't need it. It's getting cooler now though, so I ordered a different down-alt comforter... which was WAY TOO HOT with aforementioned pup-pup in bed with me. So I ordered this one, and it is JUST RIGHT!It's so soft, and lightweight, and fairly thin, but still warm -and breathable! I intend to put it in a cover (aforementioned puppo is a shedding machine), but currently it's just under the summer quilt, and we are super snug. I am actually writing this review from my bed!One thing that's great even though it's no big deal is that upon removal from the package, the comforter did not have some weird chemical smell you get so often. The packaging was lightweight too, and included a cute little note from the company.I'm very very pleased. The outer fabric is soft, smooth, attractive feeling, with nice edging all around and long channels sewn in to keep the batting in place. I got the queen size and it's quite generous, but not so big it won't fit in my duvet covers.Haven't washed it yet, so if there's a terrible defect upon doing so, I'll revise my rating, but at this point I'm giving it 5 enthusiastic stars. If you're looking for lightweight warmth for in-between seasons, or you sleep hot, or like me you share you bed with warm furry creatures who put off heat themselves, this is the comforter for you!

LOVE MY DUVET INSERT! I was looking for new summer bedding, something lighter and soft. This insert is definitely a match! It arrived tightly rolled, wrapped in clear plastic. There was no weird smell and had no other imperfections upon inspection. It's the PERFECT size for our standard queen size guest bed, with just enough to hang over each side. If you have one of those very thick, extra layered mattresses I do not believe this 86x86 would do the job (it would not cover your mattress sides completely). It is very thin, which is what I hoped for, and looks great in the new duvet we also purchased. It's also enough weight and warmth to not warrant extra layer of blanket on top. Wish I would've bought two because it was such a great deal at $15.27 (believe they're selling them at $19.99 now).GREAT VALUE, SHIPPED QUICKLY & CAME EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED:)

I almost didn't buy it because the reviews said it did not have tabs for a duvet cover but it totally does. I got the king - it is lightweight, comfortably warm and fits perfectly in my duvet cover

I received these 2 inserts about a week ago and washed them right out of the package. One came out of the dryer perfect, no flaws and fits the duvet perfectly. The other one's filling pulled away from some of the stitches which has left bumps. I went ahead and put it in the duvet anyway and it was at least 4 inches too short. I gave a seller feedback requesting a replacement of the flawed insert, but I haven't heard anything from them. I went today to check on it and my feedback was gone. Now, I could have forgotten to submit it, but I don't think so. So here I am. I hate to make negative remarks but I feel I gave them a chance...but again I may have not hit the submit button. I still would like a replacement! They really are nice inserts.

Before leaving reviews buyers should really read the description before buying. Leaving poor reviews because you go only by the photo and/or don’t read the details is unfair to the seller. Anyway! This is exactly what I wanted. I’m a hot sleeper but I like a lot of blankets. I bought this to fit inside my duvet. It’s thin but not too thin and incredibly soft. I washed (delicate) and dried (medium heat setting) and it came out perfect. No bunching or pilling. If you need a thin blanket to be used as a duvet insert or want a light blanket for warmer weather this is perfect. It is NOT a comforter. I would’ve paid twice as much for this so the price is a huge plus too.

I got this for the summer because my original insert was way to too thick and I was kept up at night from the heat of it. This is okay but it definitely doesn’t help for the summer either unfortunately. Also to see that it didn’t have string attachment to the cover was disappointing because it constantly folds and moves inside the cover.

Bought this as a gift to my future step daughter who is 14. Her father and I surprised her with a complete room makeover. This comforter was the PERFECT insert for the duvet I purchased (also purchased from Amazon it was a FenDie duvet). This insert is warm enough for our Midwest Winter and seems like it will be great in our hot summers. And.....most importantly it was last minute. Ordered on Saturday and delivered on Sunday. The customer service has been phenomenal. I personally have been a customer service manager for a very large company for many years, so its impressive to see such great customer service.
