This lunch box has been worth the price for us. It cleans up easily, has plenty of spots for different foods, and the removable divider makes it simple to change things up. Our son likes it because he can open the lid and it stays upright, which gives him a little privacy at the table. His friends have noticed and a lot of them want this style now. It is easy for a kid to open and close on their own, and nothing has leaked so far. The size works well for school days and the layout encourages a nice mix of snacks and mains. Bottom line: Easy to clean, leak proof, and a big hit with kids. A very solid lunch box.

I like its size, weight, functionality, & quality. It’s great for older kids transitioning to adolescence but is still colorful and fun to look at.

I got this lunch box for my 7th grader daughter who is 12 years old. I love the size of the compartments. Shes a big eater but for some reason when she goes to school she doesn't eat as much. Im guessing the lunch period is not that long. So it is perfect for a good amount of food for that time. I usually use this lunch box when i want to give her non-hot food items like a sandwich, fruit and cookies. It washes well too and doesn't hold odors. 10/10!

I’ve always bought Betngo lunch boxes, the one time I tried to save money and buy a different cheaper brand it broke in less than a week, so back to Bentgo I am. It’s definitely a sturdier lunch box compared to many others. This one in particular I like the big compartments and the adjustable piece in the middle. I’m a busy mom of three who prefers to throw everything in the dishwasher instead of hand wash, so I like the fact that the insert in dishwasher safe but I wish the shell was also. Another thing I don’t like too much is the fact that it doesn’t seem to close all the way and you really have to push down to close it. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because at $30 price I expect a lot from a lunch box and this one although still good quality, is not quite there yet. I would probably still recommend it.

I bought this model (11/10/25) to replace a 4 year old model that unfortunately broke apart. I really like the modern design and rounded shape of this box. I read lots of comments here complaining about the hinge system, latch and leak spills. All concerns that never happened with the old model. I will be monitoring these issues and will report them here if it happens with me. Quick update (03/19/26). So far no issues with hinges or latch were verified. However, leak spils happened when I had salad with sauce or dressing. Furthermore the rubber seal get easily stained with any colored seasoning, such as tumeric, tomato sauce and others.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Fantastic if you are looking for a tight sealed lunch box. I use it for myself sometimes I add a sandwich in large compartment veggies with dressing in one and some cut up fruit in the other and nothing gets soggy or cross contaminated. The negative would be if you wanted to heat something up you have to take out unless your heating everything up. Easy to clean and very sturdy. Durability: Strong and well made

This is already the third time I’m buying this container for my kids, and I couldn’t be happier! It’s bright, spacious, and holds a lot of food while still being lightweight — perfect for little kids who don’t want to carry heavy backpacks. The quality is excellent, the price is great, and it’s very convenient. Another big plus is that it keeps the food at the right temperature for a long time, which makes it even more reliable. Highly recommended!

I’ve been sending my 8-year-old to school with the Bentgo box every day for three months, and it’s solved so many lunch struggles. The four compartments keep fruit, crackers, and dips from mingling, and the rubberised seals really are leak-proof—I’ve packed yoghurt next to pretzels with zero sogginess. My son can pop the latches himself, yet they stay firmly shut in his backpack. After school, the whole thing goes straight into the dishwasher (top rack) and comes out spotless—no lingering odours or stains. It’s sturdy, too: one accidental drop off the counter left only a tiny scuff. If you want portion control, easy cleanup, and a lunchbox that actually survives kid life, Bentgo is worth every penny.
