Honestly, most games you play with a 5 year-old are really boring. This one is relatively fun and can legitimately be learned and played by my 5 year-old. The child is, unsurprisingly, not as fast as the adults who play with her. But you can just let the kid win a bit or handicap the adults. I love that it has several variants on the basic game, to mix it up a little. I love how fast the rounds of play are, and how fast it is to learn. It's very-basic and doesn't have much strategy/nuance to play, but it's so so good for being able to really have an all-ages play experience. Highly recommended. Legitimately Spot It is the best game I can play with my 5 year-old. Better than hungry hungry hippos, better than the acorn/chipmunk game, better than rock em sock em robots, better than the baby shark electronic fish-catching game. Many of those other ones are also super prone to breaking, by the way.

All three of my kids (5, 8, 10) enjoy this game, as well as adults. It’s quick to learn and easy to play, with several variations to make it more fun. Highly recommend.

Our family loves spot it! I love that the cards come in a travel tin which makes it great to take out to restaurants, in the car or when we go camping. There are instructions with the different ways to play, or you can mail up your own fun games. Great game for kids and adults. You can play for a short time or play for hours. We love it.

Oh my gosh these were fun. My kids enjoy it from ages three and up. Wow they really get into it and enjoy playing it regardless of the rules just spotty and matching and having several conversation conversations with it great learning activity for kids.

The Spot It Animal jr game is what I expected to order, but I’m not returning, because this one is a better deal since it’s 55 cards, not 30 like I was supposed to get. The number one is what I expected, it’s great for preschool age.

I use with my own children but also my Preschoolers. Great way for young kiddos to learn to take turns, look for details and work on many skills
