I truly LOVE the taste of POSTUM - replaces my craving for coffee and hot chocolate. Over the years, I noticed that caffeine causes joint pain in my body. I have been without both regular and decaf coffee for at least three years now. A friend told me to buy POSTUM as a substitute. I am soooo happy!! Will be purchasing more very soon!!

Postum was a drink my grandmother used to share with me when I was a boy. I thought it was something long gone. It showed up on my Amazon feed and with chocolate flavor! So, I ordered two. I will say that it's a so-so product. It does not mix well with hot water and tends to end up with "floaters" instead of a smooth mix. The chocolate taste is almost non-discernible. It's not what I remember and I am not sure I would order again.

My father introduced me to Postum 80 years ago. The addition of cocoa flavor to Postum gives Postum a good change in flavor while still remaining low in calories. Drinking coffee and tea can become boring after awhile, and cocoa is often high in calories. This cocoa flavored Postum has (per label) 10 calories per serving. Because you would use (per label) one or two teaspoons of the Postum, the number of calories may depend upon the number of teaspoonsful used by the drinker. However, either way the number of calories is low, and the flavor is pleasant.

I used to love the original possum back in the 80s and 90s. I even tried the "new" one a couple of years ago during the COVID lockdowns, and thought it was decent. This mess, however...BEWARE! It had a horrible taste and smell after making a cup (the smell was akin to the work product of a newborn's diaper). Also, there were white flecks in the container. At first, I thought, maybe wheat brain hulls, but it turned out to be WHITE PLASTIC SHAVINGS. I'm keeping the container just in case I get sick and can show the contents to a medical provider. I would avoid this product at all costs. Hopefully, I don't end up in the hospital from the one or two sips I took.

Very tasty. I was raised with the old fashion Postum and missed it when it was gone. This cocoa flavored one is better tasting. I just wish the bottle wasn't so small.

This is NOT the old fashioned postum! I just happen to have some in my storage. I tasted both. same amount of water but had to add more of the newer one to get ang flavor. Still weak on taste and it did not dissolve easily. Had clumps. Taste not the same. The real postum was a lot darker. For the price will definitely not buy again. The price is redulious. Don't recommend.
