I've been really impressed with this printer, I've been trying to find one that would print and scan A3 for ages and decided to give this a go. I'm a garden designer so I needed something that would scan and print in colour, good quality, and quickly. The build quality is excellent, it's sturdy and feels well made and I feel is excellent value for the price. Ignore the reviews that say you can only feed in A3 paper one sheet at a time, you have to pull the paper tray out and extend it and then you can put a whole ream of A3 in (it comes with instructions!). The only downside as a few people pointed out is that the tray sticks out at the front, so if left for long periods of time the inside of the tray could get dusty. Solution is to swap back to A4 once you've finished with A3 paper, and the drawer can stay closed. Scan quality is excellent - max is 600 dpi - but picks up all my pen marks (but not tippex, woop). The flatbed scanner is very easy to use once drivers are installed on the computer. Photocopying is a breeze, in A3 and A4, it's not very loud, and the multi-page scan function works well (although tested for A4 only). Connected immediately once I set it up and haven't had any problems! It's obviously not the smallest machine given it has an A3 flatbed scanner, but it's reasonably compact nonetheless. Overall would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for A3 printer/scanner for home office/small business.

The product is fine, registered and set up ok but not yet able to redeem the cashback offer. Hours on the phone to lots of people over several days. I appear to be missing an email from Amazon with a promotion code to redeem the offer but no-one seems to be able to help me.

We "upgraded" our printer from an A4 to an A3 model, the print quality is fine however when the ink ran out we (wrongly) assumed that the ink from the "old" printer would work as the cartridges are the exact same shape and size side by side, back and front... this is not the case however and upon further inspection they have literally added a small nub at the front of the cartridges which prevents the "old" cartridges from mounting, i can see no reason for this other than to fleece money from the customer, I'll not be buying anymore brother printers due to this as the ink is half the price of the printer. We should have checked in fairness but in fairness it should not have been an issue.

Good printer - simple to set up.

This printer makes good prints but I need to tell you that it is an absolute pig to install. It is like back in the old days when you had try all kinds of steps to do it. If you change your router you start from zero again. My time is valuable and the hours it has cost me to install it add up to the price of a better printer that is easier to install.

Excellent replacement printer scanner for my old Brother MFC-J6520DW. Fast delivery, really easy to set up and I'm no tech wizard :) Highly recommend this printer scanner fax copier. Goes up to A3 in size which is perfect for what I want.

No A3 drawer, has to go in the back one sheet at a time. Seems to experience more wireless connectivity issues than my previous brother printer.

great for helping me with my paper crafting hobby , it will print card stock easily and envelopes a very good printer i think
