Making models?
I use this paste on anything that’s smooth but should be rough. Like on a dowel to simulate tree bark. Or to roughen up any surface. Works great. Dries quickly. And tho’ it seems like a lot of money for a small jar it’s worth it.

WOW!
This is awesome and I like better than heavy gesso for stenciling. Since it's made of paper fiber, you can really texture it and easily watercolor over it.

Very useable for many things
Choose the canvas, board or other surface you would like to paint on. The Fiber Paste can be applied to porous or nonporous materials including metal, glass and plastic. Make sure the surface is clean and dry. Smooth surfaces can be roughed with sandpaper for better adherence. Also, is a ground for watercolor.

Great texture and tried fast on another project. I ran out of clay, so I used a pallet night and it worked out as well.
