None of these pens work. The directions has to shake them and press the top to get ink started, but they were all dried up and none of them had ink it seemed. I wouldn't waste this much money on pens that don't even work.

High quality and better than ones I previously bought at my local craft store. Extremely bright! I used them on my daughter's birthday chalkboard for her party.

Bought these to write drink specials on a black board at my home tiki bar, since they are brighter than chalk, have never used these before. Colours are great, it takes some time to finally get the stuff to come out the tips when initially using. Was surprised you aren't supposed to use on real chalk board....huh. But that's OK cause I bought one of those cheapy fake chalk boards at Michael's that are non-porous and drew a funky looking palm tree which is now permanently on the board.I tried washing off with water and alcohol and it's on there. Are you sure these aren't paint markers!????I initiated a return on the item but lacked the ink to print a label and by the time i did so, they told me it was too late to return, even though I started the return process already so now I am stuck with them. Not sure what I'll do. Figured I'd use the little labels they came with on a few bottled concoctions I gave out as Christmas gifts and the stuff no doubt wiped clean off those in transport leaving smudgy greetings.So only buy these if you plan to write and erase on labels or something.Not to mention some sort of tweezers were supposed to be in the package as a bonus gift but there was nothing.

Although these leave a color residue on my porous black board( i should be using non porous, as product pkg indicates), I do love them and have also enjoyed using them for rock painting! continuous paint flow and nice to paint with the ease of a writing utensil. This company is beary good and went above and beyond to help me when I wrote on my fridge and had a scare that it might not come off! [Alas it did- with comet/ajax =) ] Nina was pawsitively stupendous in resolving any of my concerns. I would buy from them just based on their superior customer service! Beary Good!!! Beary Good!!!

These are really great! We used them to write on our car windows for our kids sports team advancing to state. These were much brighter and more noticeable than the actual car chalk I purchased for 3.50 a piece from a retail store. These chalk markers also will write on actual chalk boards but beware if it's a decorative one. With these or really any chalk marker on the market they will leave behind a shadow of what was written on the board. I highly recommend these. I originally purchased these to use in our retail store to write sales that were going on on our front door window. I haven't used them for that purpose yet but I know from the cars that it will hold up in weather, be bright and bold, and also wash off easily!! Thanks for all the extras too which included chalk labels and a bag to keep them all in. Also tweezers to use to flip the marker tips when they get dirty. Love love love these! Will buy again!
