I bought this for a bunch of holes I was going to be cutting in the dry wall at my house. It is perfect for me, the vacuum hooks up and keeps the dust to a minimum. The vacuum attachment also fits the metal foot that comes with the Trio, but this foot works good for the tight spots.

Bought this as an accessory to my Ultra Saw (vac attachment) even after seeing the reviews. For small jobs it's "ok" but this would very short cuts. For longer cuts this turns into quite the dance requiring a partner who can read your mind. Much like putting a married couple in a tandem kayak for the first time on a windy day. I suppose it's not the attachment's fault. Perhaps just a bad design. I gave it a 3 since it did help prevent a dust storm.

I don't have the Trio, but wanted the dust port for the Saw-Max.Dremel don't sell the TR810 (dust port adapter for Saw-Max) separately that I could find. The TR810 comes packaged with certain Saw-Max boxes (the boxes without the mitre accessory).I got the box with the mitre accessory which didn't include the dust port adapter. Even though Dremel sell the mitre accessory separately.Side note, Inside the gray plastic container for the Saw-Max, there is a spot for the dust port, it fits just great.Hope to one-day get the Trio, but don't have the need right now, so the foot part will live in the toolbox.I also own the Multi-Max, a tough workhorse!Happy camper!

wont stay connected while in use

I bought this for the vacuum adapter to use with Dremel Ultra-Saw. The saw did not come with one, which seemed odd........they just wanted to sell this as an add-on, it seemed to me. The compact foot was for an entirely different tool, so that was a waste for me, but the only way I could purchase the vacuum port adapter. The adapter does NOT work well........simply will not stay mounted to the port..........another waste!!! I was thoroughly frustrated with this purchase: 1) dust port adapter should have been available either with the ultra-saw or as a separate item, 2) it does not do the job it was designed for in that it will not stay in its place, period. Unfortunately, my wife discarded the original shipping container, so I now have two accessory pieces of Dremel product that are total wastes to me.

Love my dremel and this saves a lot of clean up! I learned the hard way as a DIY person .

Drastically reduces dust, however limits your ability to where and how you use your Dremel, due to you needing 2 hands to operate while using this attachment. They should have made it so it secures both to the tool and the vacuum better.

Needed a dust port adapter for my new Ultra Saw. Could not find one anywhere. Resorted to purchasing this kit even though I do not own a Trio. Works well, no complaints.
