Ease of install is probably just due to the overall difficulty of trying to install this on a dirt floor with no jacks on an abused mower. I do feel like they could make an improved version as the wheels do see to toe in a little in the front when driving straight. The matched up almost identically to the original part, so I’m wondering if it’s just off a little more than I can see, or if it’s a fault of John Deere (very likely). Either way, as of now it works better than the stripped out set I had before, and for a much better price!

So I went through 3 of these racks from John deer factory replacement and some after markets. This was for a john deer d125. Does it fit, kind of, I wasn't able to get the center bolt that goes in the U channel so I actually only have the main pivot boldly holding it on, but after about a month, this heavier duty plate and gear are already holding up better than the one meant for my mower, I have full range turning in both directions and much smoother, sturdier turning. The metal is much denser than other aftermarket and factory parts and I can see little to no wear. My yard is 2 acres of hills and bumps so the turning I do is pretty rough, and I only drive one speed and always "send it". So if this thing can put up with the abuse I put it through, it will definitely hold up to normal use.

We have a small family farm. I have come to Amazon for a little ove a year now when I need repair or maintenance parts for my farm equipment. I once orderd or purchased from the machine manufacturer but I have learned that we can get the same parts, often in original manufacturer box. They work the same and are of the same or better quality but at 30% of the cost. This was the perfect fix for my John Deere Lawn Tractor.

This is an excellent product it fit perfectly my John Deere L120 I believe it to be better than the original manufacturer's equipment great price. I had an issue with shipping and was refunded my money almost instantly very rarely do you find a company like this they will be getting my business again.

Replaced the worn gear assembly on my crummy Deere L130. The slop at the pivot was so bad the resulting toe-out was ruining tires and making it impossible to steer. Gear was trashed, too. Unfortunately, this pinion plate didn't match up to the bolt much better than the original, so the slop remained. I drilled the hole slightly, then machined a new bushing-- cured. I'd buy it again, if I were ever going to own another John Deere product.

The part did not fit my application, as advertised. The install on my equipment is tedious and time consuming and doing it twice is not something I had planned.

This was a perfect replacement for my Scott's Brand John Deere mower. I've had it installed for several months now and there have been no issues.
