I've only been using this for less than a month, but I don't see much difference in expensively priced products I use (2-10 times more in department stores, dermatologist's office, and drug stores). I was looking for a simple regimen for protection from sun and elements, preventing wrinkles, lift, and brightness - non-oily, pure ingredients in a day cream, a night cream, and an eye product, that my dermatologist would approve.It seems to take a little more product than higher priced products, but at this price, who cares?I might be using too much, because it does seem to take a little longer to "set". I don't use the eye product too near the eye, because it is VERY moist. One site I saw mentioned "too perfumey", but I don't notice any aroma at all, and I'm particular that way. One precaution: I used my Retin-A one night, by itself, and the next morning, my face was pretty red (gone by mid-day), so I'm asking around if it should be used at all when using Cien. I'm going to try using Retin-A every 2-3 nights in the future, until I run out, and then leave it off altogether (after using it 35 years at $60-120 a year). That is, if my doctor approves of this regimen.This is a lot to say about a product, but I'm want to be thorough. I've always been protective of my fair, oily, sometimes problem skin, starting about 10 years old, and I don't want to botch it over half a century later. If problems arise, I will post an update for you.UPDATE re RetinA: After using a full order of the Night Cream (about to open the re-order that just arrived), I can say that it took less than a week for my skin to get used to the new routine. I use RetinA every third night, remembering my dermatologist once said "using RetinA with another product negates the benefits of both". That was 30 years ago, so thoughts on that might be changed by now; but alone every 3rd night works for me. I'll ask for an update next visit to the doctor, and let you know.
