I just realized, today, that I've been using the same tube of Lipfidence since March of this year! It's now running low so I've decided to write a review. This product absolutely works!Firstly, YES, it has a lip tint effect BUT that's so that your lips will have a rosy tone to it while it works it magic to effectively lighten your lips. The tint is to provide users with *confidence*, in the meantime, before the real lightening take effect!As stated, I've been using this for 3 months consistently, 3-4 times a day, every day, for the first month and a half. I definitely saw results on my lower lip (the main problem area). Now I use it about 2 times a day, sometimes I miss a day randomly but that doesn't set me back at all. I would say to give it 6 full weeks of use to see obvious results. Best results (depending on how dark your lips are) will be seen at 2-3 months.I like that fact that they let you know on the box to allow your lips to go through a full skin regeneration cycle before expecting results, AND to allow the product to sink into your lips for 5-10 mins ~ I let mines sit for 15 mins before eating, drinking, etc~. I also apply it as the last step of my nightly skincare routine, after brushing my teeth and scrubbing my lips with my toothbrush - as usual.Has a slight tingling feel, not very moisturizing once it sinks in so you may want to apply ChapStick 10 mins after application.** I should mention that I am a brown skin Afro-Caribbean woman with a yellow under tone. The pinkish-brown tone of my lips looks natural, NOT artificially pink as if I've been bleaching my lips, NOOO!!! The rosy pinkish-brown tone naturally blends in and suits the skin on the rest of my face so well!Conclusion~ Lipfidence Works! I love the way my lips look now! I'm considering buying this product from now on and using it as a daily lip product, forget lip sticks and lip stains! Trust me (and the other reviewers, especially those with pics)! Lipfidence is the only product on the internet that is effective and safe, it's worth the price after-all!

I’m not sure what it does if your lips are naturally dark but it has begun to restore the original color of my lips.How often I use it: I use it about 4x a dayHow does it feel: It smells pleasant and doesn’t have much of a taste although I make it a point to avoid licking my lips when wearing it. It dries your lips out so I put on EOS balm about 20 min after I put it on.How long have I been using this? 3 days.Anything special I’ve done? My last application is always before bed. I apply and go to sleep. No lip balm over it. I also use nicolips lip scrub once every morning.Progress: My lips aren’t quite the pigment they originally were but this is the most pink I’ve seen them in years.Why did I buy this? Over the years my lips got darker. I used to have allergic reactions to different lipsticks and glosses and my lips would peel a lot and my lips would take on a grayish color. Life is stressful so I smoke about 4x a week and I noticed my lips became even darker. I hated the way it looked in pictures. It was embarrassing. I always had to wear tinted lip gloss. I felt so insecure.Is it worth the cost? ABSOLUTELY. My lips aren’t really peeling very much but my lips peel regularly. I think since this is a little drying the peeling subsided. I’m wearing clear lip gloss tomorrow and I’m only 3 days in. Maybe the results depend on the severity and the amount of time it takes to work varies. I can only speak for my situation. Try it!

I am in utter disbelief at how effective this product has been. I literally saw visible results within 48 hours. It’s been an entire week since I’ve been using it, and I cannot believe how bright and healthy my lips look again! I do consume marijuana, and sometimes I do smoke it in papers or a Dutch, and it has definitely darken my lips over the years. With this product, you cannot suspect that I’ve ever put any smoke to my lips. I literally cannot believe how well it really worked! I just hope that it remains affordable and in stock. There’s literally nothing to complain about with this product. It has a nice scent, it feels good going on, it’s not too thick or watery. I don’t even need to use any lip gloss now with how my lips are now. It’s a natural pink/red. I will recommend to first begin using it as often as you would regularly apply any lip care. Now that my lips are at the desired tone and color, I’ve slowed down with the application of it, but will continue to use it for maintenance reasons.

I love it. I’m now on my third tube!! I’m a continuous smoker so I have to keep buying in order to keep my lips pink! It ACTUALLY WORKS, and fast, leaving your lips soft, smooth, & lighter.

I like this product & I’m already noticing my lips are starting to peel which is a good sign of it removing the darkness on my lips. I don’t think ppl understand how it works though so let me explain. The color of the product is pink, I saw someone say the color don’t last, that’s just the color of the product it’s not a gloss, it’s a treatment for dark lips. So of course the color or the product fades, Plus it dries down so you have to wait before applying chapstick or lip oil. But the product of itself is meant to lighten you lips.Same as when you get a facial peel meant to lighten hyperpigmentation it’s the same concept of this product. The lips will begin to peel, removing the darkness gradually, this is why the instructions states to exfoliate your lips every few days. This is to remove the dead skin & you will see results

I bought this product with hopes of brighten my lips! Well oh it worked. It worked so well that when applied it to my lips I also rubbed it on the sides of my lips, which left a very very light ring around my lips. I applied it like it was carmex. It definitely works to lighten around my lips, while my lips are still the came color.
