Very easy to use
I do not like computers. I was able to install and use this device within five minutes. It was very quick to learn the basics and save all my receipts to my computer with ease. I’m sure it can do a lot more than I need it to - but I am satisfied. Great value for the money to have your books in order. Excellent quality of scans and easy to read. Have used for two months so far and hope it continues to perform as it has so far.

Snappy little scanner
I purchased the renewed unit and was impressed with its condition. There were no defects and it worked marvelously. The scanning rate is rather quick, even at high DPI levels, with the ability to scan entire receipts that are ridiculously long. I have not tried out the software or the WiFi feature, so YMMV with those. For my purposes, scanning in receipts and dumping them into FOSS software for organization, I had no trouble with this unit. Be aware that, much like other scanners, you may need to drop it out of "auto" document color mode and choose "grayscale" to pick up faded receipts.

No software available for MacOS 11, but installing the version for 10.15 seems to work ok.
I was initially very disappointed when I received the unit because I have a relatively new MacBook Pro with MacOS Big Sur (11.4) installed and when I went to the Epson website to install the software basically what I got was "we're working on it". UNACCEPTABLE! I almost sent it back. Big Sur HAS been around for quite a while. Then I started looking around on the web and saw lots of complaints from folks about upgrading to Big Sur breaking their Epson software - stuff stopped working. Further investigations revealed that in some cases if the software was completely de-installed and then re-installed, things would start working again. So, I figured, what the heck. I downloaded the software for MacOS 10.15 and it installed without complaint and seems to run without any issues - SO FAR. Who knows if the next minor OS revision will break things? This isn't the first time I have had issues with timely Epson software support for Mac machines. I thought long and hard before purchasing this unit just for this very reason. I gave it the four star rating because I am very happy with the size, features and performance of the unit. I just HOPE that I won't get an unpleasant surprise someday soon, and not performing software updates is not an option for me.

Would find better quality on Temu..
Absolutely awful. The setup is completely impossible and will not read wifi and will not read while plugged in with a cable. I spent hours upon hours installing and reinstalling drivers, and after days and weeks of frustration and walking away from it until I could mentally battle it again, I see I have passed my return timeframe, so now I have this $200+ mass produced platic paperweight. I like to think that the small cable that came with this is worth more than this hunk of garbage. Keeps me from feeling the anger all over again. IF it could be setup then maybe it would be worth it, but why waste hours of your life you will never get back when you can just buy another brand that works.

Good experience for my first receipt scanner.
First time using a dedicated receipt scanner. I have liked it so far and it has worked well. I haven't used the wireless function because I travel so setting up the wi fi each time seems like a hassle. I would like a version that stored the receipts internally or on an SD card so I wouldn't need the laptop every time. Also, I'm going to make an angled base because I usually set the scanner on the edge of the desk/table almost right in front of the laptop and sometimes the receipts catch on the laptop and are scanned crooked.

Works great wired, good enough wireless, of course could be better
I've had this RR-70W for just over 2 years, works as good as the RR-60 I since gave to my kid for his receipt management. The RR-70W also has a micro USB port. The cable it came with got worn out faster than any of my other micro USB cables. I wish the port wasn't recessed thus somewhat limiting my cable options to a data micro USB plug slim enough to fit in. Also it would be nice to go USB C. Wirelessly it's fine. It has some length limit when scanning wirelessly to my phone but can do full length to my laptop tho haven't tried a CVS receipt. With wireless to my laptop at times I'd lose all my scans, and I'm not sure if it's because I should bring up the Epson ScanSmart Manage Invoices/Receipts window first before scanning, will try that next time if I remember. Wired scanning, however, no issues.

Fast digitizing. The only problem, well documented in the manual, is that to set it up via WiFi, the Wifi MUST be running 2.5GHz. If you have a wifi router set up only at 5GHz, the pairing won't work. Once the pairing is done, instruction said that it will keep working at higher speeds. I woudn't know, I still use USB cable. The PDF OCR is amazing, it easily recognises dates, amounts, taxes, etc. I'm very satisfied by this thing. And take note: it's muich smaller than the image let you think. It's super easy to carry in a laptop case.

This is a great product. I do like Epson products. Now that my new accountant has set me up with QB cloud this will save me lots of work. Using this in a business environment. So far this has worked flawlessly. Bought a case for it as well so it can travel with me. This is only a scanner , not a printer.

It is good so far. Can't connect it to Sage.

Not very good quality since with the light use we have given it failed after 18 months. It was used basically during tax time.

I haven't used to the full compassity, frustrating to set up without hooking to a computer, but did get it to work to scan a document to my email.
