Huge, Clear, Quality, and Simple! Great for Older/Tech Illiterate Folks
We originally had ordered the 10 inch screen, which was OK except there was no place to assemble the backing so it could stand as a picture. It was rather small sitting on the stand, but we were very happy being able to see our fur baby pics, who we have just recently lost. I decided that I wanted to go with this bigger model and I can say that I am 100% satisfied and pleased that I made the choice! The 15 inch is the perfect size to see the rolling pictures from anywhere in the living room. I paid the extra annual subscription cost of 30 bucks so we could play longer videos on the picture screen. I am amazed at the quality of the pictures and videos and sound. It’s clear and crisp all around. I have set it so that it goes off at 10 at night and comes back on at five in the morning and it’s right on the money. I love that we can have the time displayed in the lower right hand corner and it’s not too big that it interferes with the pictures, but it’s big enough that we can see it. One of the best things about this picture frame is that a child can set it up. That’s a win-win because as an older person, I struggle with technology. It is self guided once you plug it in. it’ll ask questions and you just answer them by pushing the button and they’re simple questions as well! Then you download the app on your phone or iPad and just import the pictures you want and voilà they’ll pop on your picture screen. There’s no fancy technology, but just simple guided questions even to import pictures. This is definitely worth the money!

Great frame!
I’m really happy with the this frame! Setup was very easy and pretty much self-explanatory—I had it up and running in just a few minutes. Uploading photos is fast and seamless, which makes it nice when you want to add memories right away. Video uploads do take a little more time, but once they’re on the frame they play well and look great. Overall, it’s a user-friendly digital frame that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Great for staying connected with family and displaying special moments!

(Update: Now e-waste) Gifts for grandparents but technical issues & video limitations were not clear
Update May 2025: We have not used our photo frames ever since Google Photos integration was gradually reduced to 1 album with a low limit of photos and now is entirely relegated to a subscription feature. We purchased these back when the Google Photo integration was good and feel we should've been grandfathered into keeping the old functionality. We're disappointed that a product we paid for specific features is now basically e-waste and even worse, our parents are no longer able to enjoy updated photos of their grandchildren. Likes: - Google Photos sync to specific albums - Once set up, grandparents don't have to touch anything to see new photos of their grandchild Dislikes: - The gooseneck-style stand is not sturdy - Google Photos integration applies only to photos, NOT videos - Videos must be added via Nixplay app - HDR video (which is basically ALL iPhone video) added directly via app is not well-supported (colors end up washed out due what I assume is a lack of HDR->SDR mapping) - The Nixplay app is fairly basic and clunky to manage 3 frames I bought 3 of these frames: one for my home, and one for each side of the grandparents. The goal was to integrate Google Photos albums of our baby for each family to enjoy. We set up a few Google Photos albums to achieve this and the Nixplay app handles this well, enabling me to control and map albums to the three frames under one account so that the grandparents don't have to do anything to see new photos. We have a Google Photos album of our baby for: - everyone (this is added to all 3 frames) - just us (just our frame) - my parents (our frame + my parents' frame) - her parents (our frame + her parents' frame) This enables us to share family specific photos without filing another side's photo frame with less-relevant family pics so they can get maximum enjoyment from relevant baby + family photos. What really bothers me is that videos from Google Photos are NOT synced. Videos must be added via the Nixplay app and the experience is a bit clunky though workable. Videos are limited to < 15 seconds if you don't want to pay for their subscription service which was initially enraging and upsetting, and now just annoying. I've discovered videos longer than 15s are not a good match for a photo frame anyway, since you want to see lots of moments in a brief period of time - you're not watching a documentary here. So I changed how I choose videos to share and it's worked fine. This means I also have 4 separate video albums via the Nixplay app: - everyone videos - just us videos - my parents videos - her parents videos Unfortunately the app does not seem to manage HDR video well (which is ALL iPhone video). Uploading iPhone 13 Pro videos directly via the app causes the photo frame to display washed out colors. I assume there's some HDR -> SDR tone mapping issues but can't find a clear answer. My wife sometimes downloads videos I upload to our shared Google Photos album to upload via the app and this works fine - presumably because Google Photos tone maps properly and the downloaded video is post-processed for SDR. If I'm being forced to upload videos via the Nixplay app, I expect the app to not require a workaround - hence minus 2 stars for a significant part of the upload/viewing experience. If this is fixed, I'm inclined to give this 4 stars for ease of use and the ability to share our photos to family easily. For those of you who got this far, I'm being incredibly critical in this review because I know the experience can be better and would probably tell all my friends with kids to get one if it were. This review is closer to a 3.5 star since we have our photo frame on our dining table and enjoy revisiting our 7 m.o. baby's milestones every evening at dinner and that is priceless. Overall this is still one of the better digital photo frames I could find for the experience it provides but I wish companies would start spending more time delivering core value to the user vs. pushing subscriptions to what I consider table-stakes features like video support.

Great for sharing photos with Mom
This is a great way to share photos (and videos) with family. Setup was easy, and the app works well. I haven't experienced any technical issues with setup or uploading photos. I can easily transfer photos from my Pixel phone's gallery, to the frame which is located at my parents house. The photos change every few seconds (which I believe is configurable). I can easily add, remove, or rearrange the photos. My mom has been enjoying viewing the photos I have shared. I can't speak as to the AI features because I haven't used these yet. And I currently have the Basic (free) plan, which provides enough photo and video space for my purposes. There are upgraded (fee) plans which allow for more storage, etc. Overall, I've been very pleased with the product so far. The frame is also very nice looking, and I find the digital display quality to be quite good. Of the frames I researched, this one seemed to be the best fit for me.

Great product! Purchased for ourselves and family. The grandparents love getting new photos on their frame. Easy to set up and good picture quality.

These frames are wonderful
My daughter gifted me a frame several years ago and I so enjoyed it. I then purchased several more to have throughout the house. I often see my adult children stop and just watched the frame on their visits, reminiscing as the photos change. The only reason I did not put 5stars because I had to pay a fee for storage (which I didn’t know when I first purchased the frames) Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoy the frames. They also make great gifts !

El marco digital funciona muy bien, lo único que al principio me pareció un poco complicado para subir las fotos. Necesité ayuda de mi hijo.

Over the past years I have purchased 3-4 frames from these people, it has 'always' arrived earlier than expected, the frame turns on and just works effortlessly, unfortunately the last frame I ordered was faulty, they refunded the money in full along with the shipping cost to return it. They kept in regular contact with me and nothing was a problem for them, I will always buy my frames from these people and nobody else, they are the best.

I was looking for a decent digital photo frame to show the memories of the family and see the memories of those missed loved ones for a while and I came across Nixplay a while ago and have Nixplay frames in our house. I came across Nixplay based on the reviews compared to others, I was a bit hesitant at first because of people mentioning about a subscription but I was also impressed on the reviews about its quality and functionality, so I ordered one Well our third frame has arrived, and guess what, we love it!! Its straightforward to setup out of the box, connect it to your WIFI, load their app on your phone which finds the frame straight away and links it to your account. Then just upload some photos and done! I must admit we all had a giggle at seeing some old photos while setting it up. But its well built, robust and has a brilliant screen display, you can change the transitions and have a timer / power saver mode for when you are not at home and is activated again by its motion sensor when you get near to the frame.. Overall it is a really great product and we are really impressed with it. You can create albums with certain photos and then choose which albums to play on what frames as well as add users to your account, like the kids and the wife (They are happy, uploading embarrassing pictures of Dad aka..ME lol) and all still on the free plan Yes, there is an option to upgrade the subscription plan where it will increase the photo storage to unlimited and provides a bit more functionality where you can upload and edit more photos, videos and even link to google as well as cover multiple frames which I also think is pretty cool as we have google devices in our home and all for a really decent price. I’ll be honest, like I said I was worried about the subscription at first but its really not a problem and you don’t need one but if you do want it. But upon looking into it, in fairness its extremely fairly priced in my opinion. I was shocked from reading some of the negative reviews and quite frankly I think the reviews are a bit off putting and misleading for anyone that would want something like this to share their memories. It’s absolutely fab!!! But like most things these days, if you want more then you pay for it – just like your TV Subscription I guess, look at firesticks for an example, you buy the stick and you can do certain things for free but then you see a program you want to watch or an app you want and guess what, you have got pay for it….. So, if you want to do more or watch more then you pay for it – just like any other online services I guess and YES, we did upgrade too – this is applied to your account so it covers the frames that are added to your account, this is now our third purchase and will certainly buy another Anyway, I personally would buy this again as we love it and the kid’s now want one in their rooms 😊
