We got this to set on our son's couch (a low, flat sectional) to boost the height of the seat area and provide arm rests and a comfortable back support for my 76 year old husband. He had knee replacement surgery and finds it hard to get up from a sitting position if the seat is too low, which was the case with the couch. Adding this chair was the ticket. It fit on the couch perfectly, was stable, and the back could be adjusted to a comfortable supportive position. Since we are frequent visitors to the son's home, he can store this in a closet and bring it out whenever we come to visit. It was the perfect solution.

Perfect floor chair for us. It feels a little cheaply made, and the arms are a little loose and wiggly. But overall, it’s actually incredibly comfy for the price. We use it when we’re gaming so we can sit slightly closer to the TV. I love the fact that it can lean back almost into a full recline. This is absolutely perfect for video gaming up close to the TV. It even comes with a little lower back support pillow, which also works wonders for the neck support if you’re doing an almost full recline. Husband’s even lowered it all the way flat and used it as a bed and said it was quite comfortable. The only things I don’t like about it are the loose wiggly armrests. The other catch is, when you want to adjust the back angle, you have to completely reset it by pulling it all the way forward until the lock disengages and then you have to lower it all the way flat and click it up into position. This makes it tricky if you are trying to find just the right angle of recline; cause if you miss it, you have to start all over again.

I took a three day reiki training course which involves a lot of floor sitting and meditation. I am an older lady and asked the woman in advance if I could bring some type of cushioned chair she said yes and I started searching the Internet like crazy ,?when I first sat on this I couldn’t believe it , it’s like sitting on a La-Z-Boy recliner, and then the fact that it goes completely flat, and you can use the lower back pillow as an actual head pillow, I was literally falling asleep during the Reiki meditations it’s that comfortable . I’m never going to get rid of this, so I store it behind my couch, but it was a lifesaver !!

Can the company please reach out to me and walk me through why it is so hard to adjust the positions on this seat? I don't want to return it but that is disappointing. Wanted to update everyone to the fact that the company never did reach out not a word. It never did get easier to recline. So if you ever have an issue and you probably will honestly, I'd just save your box and request a refund because they don't seem to want to provide any follow up customer service after they get your money.

Well made. Very adjustable. As comfortable as a real chair. Well... this IS a real chair. My wife thought it was a waste of money until she tried it. I now have one on order for her. The price is not cheap, but I definitely got the quality and comfort I paid for. That said... I'm not sure I'd say the extra pillow is high quality... but I did not buy it for the pillow.

The mechanical structure is great, it holds heavy weight and is easy to fold and storage, but the foam and all the cushions inside its just bad, a couple weeks I start feeling the metal in the arm rest, it have a zipper and I opened to check it out and I see plastic bags and packaging foam, I got four of those chairs and I keep only two planning on reupholster it some day just for fun.

Very comfortable, made well!!Great for the grandkids for seating, or taking a nap. I purchased 3 of them for the extra room for them, better than purchasing a bed as it makes the room much more roomy. I also use it to read or watch tv, very comfortable 😊

I bought it (Jan 25) to use in my SUV for an extended trip. I finally took it out of the box and over the last several days (Mar 7-10), I set it up inside the house 'as if' I were using it in the car to fully test it out. Apparently, 6 weeks is too long to request a refund.😡 I guess my friend's kids will have fun with it until they wear it out! Pros: 1. It's the PERFECT size for that use! 2. It's super easy to adjust - much like the old full length tri-fold lawn chairs. 3. The base frame is sturdy and solid. Cons: 1. When fully reclined, the detachable tufted seat portion quickly unzips itself; so using it to nap/sleep as advertised isn't an option. 2. It's generally noisy; makes crinkle sounds anytime you move-especially the arm rests. 3. The cover fully unzips (base, armrests, seat, and bolster) leading one to believe it can be washed. However, the armrest attach points go through the seat preventing actual removal of the cover on the base or armrests...so, spot clean only. :( 4. The cushion materials are truly pathetic for $160 chair! The bolster is very slightly packed with poly fiberfill; just enough to keep it's shape, not enough for any reasonable use. 5. The seat (with tufted part off), in just these few days completely compressed and is extremely uncomfortable! I thought, "I'm a sewist AND I happen to have a good quality square cushion I could replace in the seat." This is where I discovered both the fact that the cover won't come off and the ridiculous quality of the inside of it! The base chair is made by GLUEING a sandwich of CARPET UNDERLAY (.5"?), hard polyethylene packing foam!, and a thicker (1.5"?) carpet underlay material, with a 1/4" cheap poly batting material encasing all around. This sandwich is the full length of the chair (continuous single pieces stacked) and is glued to the main chair frame. (photo shows it fully reclined with the frame/bottom side up). So, passed a refund point and unable to replace the cushioning material. What an utter disappointment! I'm not sure how it's gotten so many rave reviews! Or maybe I just got a sham item.
