I originally bought this to see if it would help with spots from basil cell carcinoma. I used something called black salve to eat out the bad spots from the sun, and then used a combination of topical eggplant cream, and ingesting these eggplant supplements to help heal the skin and prevent further damage. My face looked bad when I used the salve to eat the spots out. It was red and horribly swollen/bruised. A combination of these supplements and eggplant cream helped reduce the redness and heal the skin quickly. My skin has never healed that fast and is starting to look smoother than ever! After a while of taking these supplements, I noticed I hadn't been having to put makeup under my eyes to cover the dark circles. I had to look up if that was related to eggplant, or if it was all in my imagination. Turns out reducing dark eye circles was a happy side-effect I wasn't expecting! I don't FEEL anything different (no weird side-effects), but my skin is looking great!
