Soft Iron Rod, High Pure Iron Rod, Ideal Core for Making Electromagnets, 0.5" Diameter, 6" Long

I purchased this pure iron rod to keep fairies and other dangerous creatures away, and this far it has worked

Excellent soft iron rod

Wasn't 0.5".. more like 13mm. So, it didn't fit the hole and is worthless to me.

Good rod, one thing to note though is it is covered in protective oil.

This is not high pure soft iron. If you are looking for high purity iron { >99.8 % pure Fe and with a relative permeability of (1000 - 5000)}, this is not it. Relative permeability of this rod is even less than carbon steel.
