Sorelle Providence Convertible Crib Toddler Rail, Vintage Frost

This matches my Vista Elite crib, but the problem is that it can only be attached one way. So rather than having the high rail up at the head of my daughters bed, it is down at the foot of the bed. It doesn't seem to matter to her, but it would be nice if it was able to be attached either way.

I put this rail on a Sorelle Vista Elite crib.I have so many issues with this product. First the screws that came with it were too long. I didn’t realize this when I was assembling it and the first screw poked a hole through the front face of the rail leaving a large splinter that had to be removed. I thought that I could fix the issue by just using the screws from the crib, but they’re a different thread. I ended up using large washers to take up the extra screw length but with this solution it was almost impossible to tighten the screws as the Allen key wouldn’t fit. Also, the rail only covers half the bed: I think it would have been better to cover more as a toddler doesn’t need half the length of the bed to get out of it. Finally, this rail turned a stylish crib into an ugly eye sore. Not worth the money or the time spent fixing it.

Many of the negatives are overblown. All in all I think it's worth the bucks as it matches perfectly in color and design just a bit short on how the 2 pieces connect.My hardware was all there and more. Screws were the correct length as long as all washers are used!Problem:This does come in two pieces or it couldn't ship reasonably. And here is my reason for the downgraded review. There is a long bolt and plug nut to connect in the top of the two connection holes. Then there's a dowel used to line up the two pieces in the bottom hole but this allows a weak point and will result in it breaking eventually because leaning on the middle corner is natural. This is a BIG potential problem. Had to screw in a plate on the bottom across the gap which solved the problem (shown in photo). Can't see the plate once in as it faces down. Both holes should have the same connecting hardware. With this fix it would be perfect.My colors match perfectly. The color miss-match review was an order error. They had an Espresso (dark) bed frame but ordered the Sand (light) rail.Duh

The side rail is a great edition to my grandson’s toddler bed. It matches his bed perfectly and is a good safety feature. The quality is great! Thanks amazon

Looked good but when I tried to attach the included screws were too long and splintered the rail. Make sure of screws length before you use it. Otherwise good for the crib. Good material and instructions included but beware the screws!

Works great and my 2 yr old loves having a "big boy" bed. Easy to assemble and color matched perfectly.
