I bought the EXTRASTAR E14 6W LED Candle Light Bulbs to replace some older halogens in my chandelier, and I’m genuinely impressed. These bulbs strike a great balance between energy efficiency and warm ambiance. ✅ Brightness & Colour: Despite being just 6W, they emit a crisp, warm white glow (around 2700K) that’s perfect for cozy evenings or elegant dining setups. No flickering, no harsh glare — just smooth, consistent light. ✅ Design: The candle shape with clear glass looks stylish and classic. They fit perfectly into my E14 sockets and add a touch of sophistication to the fixture. ✅ Energy Savings: I’ve noticed a drop in energy usage already. These LEDs are a smart upgrade if you're looking to cut down on electricity bills without sacrificing light quality. ✅ Longevity: Too early to judge lifespan, but they’ve been running daily for weeks without issue. No buzzing, no dimming — just reliable performance. 💡 Tip: If you're using a dimmer, double-check compatibility. Mine worked fine, but it’s worth confirming. Overall, a fantastic value for money. Title says it all, really. Sooo, bought these for a three arm modern chandelier ceiling fitting to replace the 40w tungsten bulbs. It was connected to a dimmer switch. First thing I did was to replace one bulb with one of these. Switched on, Bingo! It came on and dimmed with the other two bulbs. Fitted perfectly, no flickering and rose and fell in brightness with the other two. Righto thunk I, I'll replace the other two. All three came on, on max power, didn't dim and flickered. So I replaced one of them with one of the original tungsten bulbs, Bingo! All three dimmed with no flicker. Still getting savings on energy and cost, and the light is sooooo much whiter and brighter than before. Not got a scooby why this should be, but I'm sure someone will know but, who cares?, it works....sort of. Great quality and, I presume, a decent lifespan.
