A very good Decaf
Caveat: Everyone has very specific personal tastes with regards to coffee. "One size" does not fit all. Period. My preferences are a "strong" or bold cup of coffee that brews well in a Keurig with self-made K-cups. I "should" drink decaf; however, I also shop for price and availability of bolder roasts. Due to budget concerns, I MUST be somewhat flexible in what constitutes a good cup o'Joe. I usually brew two k-cups at 8 oz in a large 20 oz mug. Add creamer, sweetner, and a splash of cold Alaskan water (not much warmer than a melted icecube). I drink an avg of 5 such mugs per 24 hours. My idea of "day" hardly matches anyone else's as right now, we're light 24/7. Come winter, it will be 18 hours of dark. Everything that comes to Alaska has a fairly significant add-on cost due shipping (this includes grocery store purchases, too). Few companies offer "free" shipping to either Alaska or Hawaii, no matter how much we purchase in a single order. So, I've been experimenting with various offerings at Amazon as I really need the Amazon's flexible shipping pricing. Not everything is cheaper on Amazon, but by the time shipping is factored in, it's at least a break-even price point, and with Warehouse Deals can be a significant savings. I purchased a Keurig this past Xmas and renewed my love affair with coffee. BUT, I rapidly learned that I simply cannot afford either the cost of pre-made K-cups nor am I willing to add to the landfill at the volume of coffee I make. I've been purchasing from Coffee Bean Direct for years now, but mostly their teas, simply because I could buy acceptable coffee locally, but not budget-priced loose leaf teas. Their service and quality has always been excellent. I really like this coffee, especially for being a Decaf. It makes a really smooth bold cup of coffee. However, since it's priced double to that of Eight O'Clock products, I'll probably only use this as a supplement to make a 50/50 blend -- lower my caffeine. For those who don't know, Sumatra is the lowest acid coffee available. Sumatra Dark Roast would be about a 7 out of 10 on a "roast scale" with 2 or 3 being standard restaurant brews, and a 10 being Espresso-level.Pre-made K-cups are definitely a bolder cup than a self-made one; however, as in all things that require some balance, I recommend that anyone who isn't a purist for the boldest to give this a try -- especially those who fight stomach acid issues. There is also a non-decaf version, too.

Lovely rich flavor
This is my favorite bean to use in my espresso machine. The flavor is rich, almost like a dark chocolate, with just a little bitterness, but not too much. I enjoy my coffee but need to avoid caffeine and after trying many similar beans, this is the one I decided I like best. I’ve made multiple purchases over several years and they have managed to maintain consistency and quality in every batch.

Velvety, Rich, Dark Sumatran Decaf.
FULL of flavor, full of body, but hardly bitter. Do you like the tannin filled richness in a nice Cab Sauv Red? Or the depth of a dark red sweet cherry? IMO this is the coffee version. I often see various coffee descriptions with "chocolate and or Cherry/berry" etc. but then don't get what they are saying. I think you'll actually GET IT ! with this. ( I don't like flavored coffee BTW, that's not what I'm talking about). My wife and I indulge in a Cafe Trebol Costa Rican daily roasted at Market Centrale in San Jose (bring some back for me!) and this Sumatran Decafe after dinner. We use pour over method fresh ground almost espresso to extract as much richness as possible. We are completely satisfied with this purchase and will continue. I'd love to hear YOUR thoughts.

Great tasting decaf
From the minute I opened the bag I knew I was in for a great cup of decaf. Hard to find a decaf that tastes like the real thing. Love this one!

Not as advertised NOT DARK ROAST!
It's listed as a dark eoasr, but it's barely a medium roast. The medium roast decaf i got at Starbucks had twice he flavor of this junk. I already threw out the non resealable bag, so I'll have to make so with using a lot more coffee per cup.
