Purchased for a rear facing camera. We bought a new car and I didn't want to drill holes in the interior to mount the camera, nor did I want to use the adhesives that came with the camera. The suction cup mount seems very durable and stuck very well to the window. While it is still very cold and wintertime, I'm optimistic about how well it remains stuck to the glass in the summer sun and heat. The mount has many position options to make mounting your camera simple and optimal for catching incidents behind your car.

This does exactly what I wanted it to. Great price for the item. It is the perfect size, nicely designed it sticks right where I put it.

Found this device very easy to install - just screw on the camera to the plate, stick the very strong suction cup to the back window, and adjust the camera as needed. For some reason the plate that connects to the camera has holes in two of the corners, but not the other ones - weird oversight; with my camera I could have used two of the corner holes for optimal aligning, but ah well. I also feel that this device is quite a bit bigger than it has to be, and as such blocks the view - the design should be revisited to make it more compact (in my case it's less of an issue because the camera display covers/replaces the rearview mirror, so I always get to see what the camera sees, but many other dashcam models don't interact with the rear view mirror; in those cases it may be better to place the back camera to the left or right side of the rear window. All that said, I'm happy that I didn't have to poke/drill holes anywhere in my car to install the back cam properly :)

Be aware that the suction cup has a very low temperature rating. While parked in a parking lot on the sun, the suction cup melted and the material ran down my windshield. It was hard to clean and got all over the place. Additionally the twist lock broke while tightening the ball joint. I had to superglue the twist lock together to tighten the ball joint. This is just my experience. Other experiences may be different. Just a real review. The value for the money was not worth it.

Good, sturdy, but keeps falling off rear window every few days probably do to being on heated lines.
