This thing is a pretty simple level, and for non-engineering tasks, like making sure your tripod is level, or in my case, that my griddle stand doesn’t need to be adjusted due to whatever terrain I happen to be on, it works great. The magnets are pretty simple, and affixed via adhesive. So, I’d be careful about keeping these near any kind of extreme hot/cold temps as I don’t think the adhesive will hold up, and in the case of a hot environment, the magnet definitely won’t. So basically, don’t try using the magnet inside your freezer (or in some kind of winter environment if it’s going to be out there for long), and I wouldn’t recommend attaching this thing to your outdoor cooker while it’s in operation. Otherwise, it’s a great buy for the $.

They have been excellent for equipment installations where the leveling point is uncomfortable to read or to use a larger level, I thought that because they were cheap they would not be very precise, but reality has helped me a lot; The first thing I did was compare them with a digital precision one and they were within tolerance, I don't know if it was luck or if they are good, but they have been useful to me in equipment where the axes of movement must be level but have spaces of less than one inch.

These are perfect for my shop projects and hanging pictures. It's magnetic if it's on metal too. Sometimes you don't need to pull out the huge heavy level so these are perfect. Plus with multiple levels if I lose one I have another one until the one I lost shows up. Great value.

I needed these levels to work on some suspension adjustments on a race car. It was a lot easier to have multiple visual indicators that things were being adjust properly relative to level without have to move a single level around. Obviously they are not very long so you have to use them appropriately, i.e. not a 4' construction level, but they are so useful and don't take up tool box space.

I have a Ninja Woodfire Grill on a metal roll- around cart on a sloped patio slab.
