After having purchased foam mattress toppers of varying thicknesses and quality over the years, I am soooooo pleased with this purchase! This beats the environmentally destructive foam toppers in several ways.... #1, it's almost entirely made of sustainable, natural materials. If it ever is thrown out, it will compost instead of stay in a landfill for years. It is mainly cotton and down. I'm additionally pleased that the down is of higher quality, so it doesn't poke out. There are also four elastic corner holders; not sure of the material composition of the elastics, but they appear to be natural rubber elastic. #2 Unlike the foam toppers, it doesn't overheat; yet, it also keeps you warm and cozy on chilly nights. #3 Comes with corner elastics attached. They seem to be attached very well, and all the seams are sewn evenly and tightly. #4 Obviously not treated with a bunch of chemicals. When I pulled it out of the packaging, I expected the sharp chemical smell of typically manufactured items. With the foam toppers, the smell lingers for days! However, this mattress topper had no nasty smell at all and was able to go right on the mattress. I'm in an RV, so this was a big deal! #5 No waiting for hours for the mattress to expand. With the foam toppers, the thicker the topper, the longer you have to wait after you've unboxed it for full expansion. With this topper, there was no waiting at all. I just fluffed it a little and put it right on my bed. #6 Much, much easier to move than the foam toppers! I can easily move this to vacuum my mattress and inspect the topper, and then put it back without much effort at all. Doing this monthly task with a foam topper was hard! It replaced an old one that was constantly migrating on my bed during sleep. Also it had feathers poking out and pricking the sleepers. This new one is well attached to the bed, no feathers coming out at night, just one comfortable feather bed. Perfect

This mattress topper is made out of great quality cotton fabric, very well filled with what feels like a good quality feather and down mix, I do not what to open the seem to check its content, but it does feel just as I expected a feather and down staffing should. I bought it in a hope to get a breathable topper that would channel away at least some of my body heat that my mattress seems to accumulate and throw back at me in the middle of the night. I was not expecting how well this topper works! It feels very soft and luxurious and keeps my body temperature just right throughout the night. My only concern is that it is too comfortable and I do not want to get up in the morning out of this cozy “nest” of mine… just kidding… so far - no cons, great buy!

Arrived with a disgusting, overwhelming smell. Like dead wet birds. Or a dead dog. I don’t know. It said a smell was “normal” and to air out. I let it air out for 4 days…. On a rack in my house by a sunny window, and even outside on a rack for one sunny day. No change. Everything it touched had to be watched. It comes incredibly tight packaged, impossible to put back in box… thankfully I have a big box to ship back. Otherwise, the thickness was on point, but the smell wasn’t it. I have down pillows and have slept on many featherbeds and never smelled this.

I do love it it’s super super super fresh even with sheets on top but It’s not as fluffy/thick as I thought. I did shake it out for a bit got some air in it like that n that helped a lot it’s super comfortable I do love it n would buy again it’s just not exactly as fluffy as the picture incase that is a deal breaker for you.

Our mattress was way too firm for me, we added this topper and now it's perfect!!!! It's the right about oof squishiness. I highly recommend it.

Not what I expected as soon as I unpacked it. The fabric was very rough scratchy almost like canvas. Feather quill can be felt. Not soft once on the bed with sheets on. Needed a mattress cover over it because of the sharp feathers. Will be sending it back to buy another
