Perfect for English paper piecing, must have!!!
These are the perfect needles for English paper piecing. I went through five or six other brands before finding these and I am completely obsessed. The eye of the needle is bigger compared to other needles of similar size so I did find it easier to thread. Because they are thin needles they can bend, but that should be expected. These needles are very sharp and work perfect for English paper piecing, highly recommend.

Shockingly excellent!!
Recommended by a YouTuber for English paper Piecing…my new challenge to myself. I was actually surprised at the difference this high quality made! Stitches are slicker, thread comes through my stitches without resistance, and the needles have a bit of welcomed flex. Still using 1st needle after weeks of use, still sharp and smooth. Had no idea a sewing needle could make such a dramatic difference in learning this new skill. Very happy with this product, highly recommend.

Love the Needles-Shipping lied again
Slow shipping. 2 days became 5! I could have made other options. Not the first time Amazon says 2 days and it's a week. Totally frustrating. Needles are exactly what I expected. Wonderful. Slide through material. Big eye is the only way to do these little needles. A+++

I love these needles. I’m never going back to the cheap ones!
These needles are amazing and worth the money. They are super sharp. After using cheaper, duller needles and then switching to these - I actually NEEDED thimbles bc I poked my fingertips a few times (that’s a good thing). They are also remarkably strong and flexible at the same time. I have worked them hard in EPP and I haven’t broken one yet. I have pulled hard enough that my thread broke but that’s a reality of hand sewing with cotton thread. Even though these say “large eye”, I found I really benefited from using a needle threader. The Clover desktop threader works for threading but it sometimes takes 2 or 3 tries. Not a big deal. But you may need to try different threaders to find one that works consistently with these needles. I love these needles and plan to keep using this type and brand for as long as I can. They are worth the money, they’re that good.

Very smooth needle & eye. Easy to thread for their size.
Excellent for hand sewing, such as in English paper piecing, or for piecing quilt blocks. Very smooth needle & eye. Eye is just large enough for me to thread by hand using the fold over & pinch method. (I have arthritis & MS, so that’s a boon.) The eyes aren’t as large as tapestry needles, but they are larger than the eyes of similar sized sharps, betweens, milliners or appliqué needles. The eye is almost the same size as the needle shaft, so you don’t have to tug to pull the eye through. They are pretty flexible, but aren’t very sturdy, as one would expect of such a thin needle. Most last several days, or even over a week of stitching 6-8hrs/day. Only one broke after 9hrs of stitching. Pretty good durability. They are expensive, but so far, they’re the easiest to thread for their size & have the smoothest eye I’ve found (they sand the eyes by hand).

Great hand sewing needles.
Fine to appliqué with but large enough eye to see to thread.

Nice for EPP
I like these for English Paper Piecing. The wide eye makes them easy to thread.
