I ordered this one specifically since it uses AA batteries (unit AND remote) rather than the less common C's that seem to power all the competitors. Maddeningly, it uses screws to hold on the battery doors rather than just slide friction locks, but I guess you can't have everything. The DC power jack is a somewhat standard 2.1 mm so is easily replaced should it become necessary.Just for fun, I hooked this to a bench power supply. It draws ~0.08A on standby, `~0.7A on low speed and right at 1A on high. I tried it on various power banks and it always sounded the same whether on a standard 2.0A USB port or a high speed PD/QC port. It properly disconnects the internal batteries when the external cable is inserted.The remote works excellently, even through 2 walls in my basement, and has an actual on/off switch to manually disconnect and prevent battery drain when not in use. The main unit will turn off after 1 minute of non-use when in standby mode. The remote similarly turns itself off, so requires a 2nd press of the button to reactivate if not used for longer than one minute.A good working, simple little machine. Easy to rinse out after use, lots of bubble juice concentrate, competitively priced.

Stopped working in one day.

There are much better options for bubble machines out on the market. Don’t waste your time or your money on this one. No matter what angle I had the machine at, it would clog with bubbles. I probably would’ve had better success if I had just blown them myself through a wand.

This is our 2nd bubble machine in months. The machine didn't last long but when it was working it worked well and produced a lot of bubbles for an extended period of time.

Hear me out . . . if you aren't using a bubble machine for pranks, you're just not living life to its fullest. And this machine is the perfect one.If you have a ring (video) doorbell you can position this bubble machine outside your door in the porch area. Once someone rings the doorbell, just use the included remote to start blasting them with bubbles. You can capture their reaction via the video doorbell. It suprises and delights everyone. You can't help but smile when you're ambushed by bubbles.Also - because it is battery powered, you can strategically hide this bubble maker at parties or events - triggering it when you need some addes atmosphere. I recently took it to a restuarant (private room) for a party. When it was time to sing happy birthday, out came the bubbles. It was like magic because the bubble maker was hidden in a corner and was triggered via the remote.It is good clean fun. And there are lots of bubbles. Let your imagination run wild.

The media could not be loaded.  Pretty pleased with this little machine. It is small and lightweight. Has power controls on the unit as well as a remote. And it comes with LOTS of bubble concentrate. Pretty decent concentrate too! Made for lots of great bubbles and kept the doggos occupied for a good long time!Plugs into the wall. Comes with cable but no wall adapter (standard USB). Looking forward to using this at events.

After just one use, the item never worked again. I bought it for my son's party. It worked that day. The next I try to use it and it didn't even turn on. Waste my money with this item.
