They are very helpful in keeping organized

Twist ties are for amateurs. Velcro is a PITA but was the best universal solution (because purse clips don't work in all situations). Keep away from anything that's not magnet friendly, obviously - though we're kinda past the days of CRT displays, floppy discs, and mechanical hard drives (for the most part - they're still good for some use cases). I don't advise using these inside a computer, though the heads are really too large. Behind and under the desk though? Absolutely.

These things are super convenient. Only knocking a star off because if you're not careful, the magnets can be pulled out of the rubber strap. You'll want to make sure the part that's sticking to a magnetic surface is the part that's fully covered by the strap.

Very strong magnets. Works better than I expected.

Magnets slip out of rubber pocket; magnets stay together yet you lose the purpose of holding cords together.

The magnets pop out every time I separate the cord. Not very good if it’s something you have to unwrap often.

Velcro straps are tedious. Zipties are annoying and wasteful. These magnetic ties are perfect! they compliment the Eureka height adjustable desk that I purchased recently perfectly.
