Exceptional.
Exceptionally sharp. Not the cheapest of cheap DE blades in small quantities but a 50 pack is ~$0.35/blade. You’re talking Pennie’s for the best. Most people from my reading online seem to like the feel of these the second shave, as the first they’re so ripping sharp it’s easy to nick yourself if not slow/methodical. I prefer them on first, and will toss after the third shave. I could see these irritating certain skin types but I’ve had zero issues.

Fantastic Blades
These blades are fantastic. Super sharp, allowing it to effortlessly glide through my husband's course facial hair. In comparison to other blades, these are expensive, but well worth it. You can expect to get about 3 good shaves with each blade. Zero razor burn. This blade was paired with a Rockwell 6C.

Great razors
I have to say these are the best blades I have ever had. They fit nice and snug in my safety razor and gave me the best shave I have ever had with one.

Sharp blades, smooth shave with few cuts
There is glue, or wax holding the protective wrapper to the blade. This is the first time ordering feather brand of safety blades so I was concerned about having sticky stuff on the blade. I researched it,and found that this is their normal procedure. They add the two drops ...one on each end to hold the protective covering in place so the blades won't shift in transport thus keeping them from dulling themselves. The blades are sharp and give a good close shave. The Japanese tend to make superior blades of all kinds so I have trust in the consistency of this product. The price is very competitive, and I recommend buying them by the 100 pack

zero flaws - supremely sharp
wafer thin - edge so refined its incalculable 5 stars is not enough i used these as a paper cutter performs better than box cutter blades

Too sharp!
I'm new to wet/DE shaving. These were my FIRST blades! BAD IDEA. Let me warn you against making my mistake. These blades are unforgiving. You myst first learn proper technique. I'm around 2 dozen shaves in now with double edge wet shaving.. and I'm still working on it. I've found if I want a close shave, while still being forgiving enough with my inexperienced hands, to use Astra blades. The [green] to be exact. Very affordable. Next, if I want a very very comfortable and forgiving shave.. I use Derby blades. When my skin is sensitivie from a close shave with my poor technique from the previous day(s), that's when I'll use a Derby. But on healthy, strong skin with decent stubble, I prefer Astra. I won't down-vote the Feathers for being too sharp of a razor blade. That's my fault. I'm like a rooky trying to make a fine instrument sound good.. it's not the instruments fault, it's my poor skill. If you're versed and practiced in DE wet shaving, then chances are you've already used these and don't need the reviews. If you're new to this game- don't start here. This isn't one of those "buy the best up front!" Sort of things. I too live by that philosophy. But it doesn't apply here. After I go through the 130+ Astra and Derby blades I have left, then I will try my hand with the Feathers I have left. I almost discouraged myself from DE shaving by using the Feathers first! Having your neck and face bleeding all over and feeling like it's covered in fire ants for the night ISN'T fun or encouraging to a new activity. I even first watched many youtube videos of shaving hobbyists who know their stuff.. they all advised against Feathers for newbies. Being hard-headed and unrealistic about my shaving abilities, I ignored them. Go ahead and ignore me.. you might be right! ...or not.

After a lengthy period of intrigue, I decided to take the challenge of using, what are touted to be the sharpest double edge blade the market can provide. At first try and all others, I used my trusty Gillette slim. Thinking I'd need to back off the "depth of cut" but in this I was wrong. I honestly found the somewhat formidable hype to be just not true in my case. Sure they're sharp but not horrifyingly so. I'm still here, intact in every way and enjoying every shave. My beloved Astra superior platinum and Wilkinson Sword, both Russian manufactured, do take a back seat in my opinion. Are Feather blades good/great? Yes Are they worth the expense? Possibly Will I switch to them? No A wonderful product, and exceptional quality from a country we expect nothing less of. The price of "better and sharper" is a tad too steep. Warmest regards to all. Edit as follows. All else is original. "After more shaves with this brand, I'm having a slight change of heart. I'm getting glorious results but limited in numbers, say the fifth shave is anything but comfortable. So my overall opinion is, is the cost worth it? Yes. Do I still recommend them? Oh yeah. Will I swap over? If the price is right... Yes."
