Q: What are the measurements for the bag?

The front pocket for a yoga mat will not hold a thick yoga mat. It must be very thin. Inside the bag there is only room for the yoga blocks.

Q: Will a 1" mat fit in this bag?

No. Your yoga matt will only fit in the side pouch, not in the bag. You can fit yoga blocks, blanket, strap inside the bag. There is another bag I purchased on Amazon that does hold your yoga matt, blocks, etc, which i converted to.

Q: Will this bag work with a 1/2" thick yoga mat?

I would think so. Put the mat in the slot before you fill the bag

Q: What's the interior like? Is there a lining? Pockets?

No lining on the interior. Lots of room for a yoga towel, change of clothes, and drink. One zipper pocket inside for phone & keys.
