Wish Amazon would make it clear where an item is shipping from. It took quite awhile for the seat cushion to arrive. My husband was looking forward to receiving it. Unfortunately it was not comfortable. Due to it coming from abroad, to do the return “we would have to pay for return shipment” and loose money; HomDSim offered to give us a small refund and to keep the (unwanted) item. We’ll donate it. Hopefully it will work for someone.

it seems fine, but is built for a small person - you can kinda see in the photo, that the lumbar-support element of the device is very far down on the back support - in my case, too far down - i am 5'10" --- it would be nice if the lumbar-support section was adjustable. I took mine apart (snipped the binding holding the lumbar-support to the back), moved it up several inches, and 're-wired' in place with some (grocery) wire-ties. I'd say otherwise, for a short person, it's fine as is, and the build-quality seems generally sturdy.

This was good for as long as it lasted. I’m petite, 5’2”, 110 lbs so it worked for me. I liked it. But the backing did start ripping and disintegrating after 1.5 yrs. Kinda flimsy, but it was functional and worked great for me.

I bought this because I live without air conditioning. When the weather is hot, I 'stick' to my office chair that I use with my computer, unless I wore more than just a T-shirt, not a hot-weather option. This device lifts me away from the leather surface of the chair and permits ventilation. I like the little lumbar bump too; I thought I didn't need it, but it really is nice, I use the device even when the weather is not hot.

This is a high quality lumbar support that is strong and well made. It isn't "mushy" mesh. It is "hard" mesh which was hard to find. Lumbar support is made of the hard mess as well and stays in place. When I'm using it it doesn't slip all over like a lumbar pillow would. Nice and wide. Seems as wide as the car seat in my 2000 Honda CRV. Folds a little bit, up to the lumbar portion. I think it could have been better packaged for mailing (came in a thin plastic envelope with no box), but fortunately it did not bend, crush or get damaged in any other way during shipping. I would definitely purchase this car seat again for the passenger side if I decide I want one for that seat. I highly recommend it for someone looking for a sturdy car seat lumbar support.

Like other reviews stated, the lumbar is too low (unless you are extremely short). However, I originally did not want the base seat to be attached, and after removing it, discovered I can set the back part manually to the perfect level when I enter my vehicle. It is a work around, but something I was already doing with my previous lumbar support, and this one seems to be more durable.
