A bit bulkier than expected, but still impressive.
It fits 2 3/4 inch shells with about 1/6 inch clearance. Wouldn't reccomend using 3 inch shells as wouldn't fit or likely be too tight to properly strip. As for size, on my tactical vest from RTS, it will only fit 2 of these despite would should be enough room for 3 due to the protrusions that are the screws popping out from the sides of this magazine. Due to this, you're either limited to 2 of these or 2 and a shot card which is likely to only fit 7 rounds for a total of 27 versus an even 30. Then again this was only tested with molle webbing on one specific brand of vest, and those with possible larger chests/molle webbing may be able to fit a comfortable 3 on the front portion of a plate carrier. Overall happy with this product as feeds easily when going to strip shells, now just dealing with a skill issue of loading as quickly as I can strip. Planning on ordering another 2, just wish they madd this in a clear translucent material. NOTE: YOU WILL NEED TO PUT IN SHELLS IN OPPOSING DIRECTIONS OTHERWISE IT WILL CAUSE SHELLS TO STACK HEAVILY TO ONE SIDE.

Not as pictured.
The plastic at the top sides is not strong or fit together well. The Mold is not as clean as the ones in the pictures.

Nearly five stars, but still a pretty good unit
So first off general construction is pretty good and the spring force is nice and strong. The follower just seems a little loose and can get a tilt to it. I was worried it might hang up or otherwise act weird, but in use seems like a non-issue.The pictures in the listing shows a guy grabbing a shell with gloves on. Maybe that guy had small hands, because I thought the slot was just big enough for my thumb with no gloves. With gloves I'd have to be careful pulling a shell.Overall, I used this twice so far. First use was for 3 gun where I ran it on my chest rig (molle straps) with slugs for the stages with mixed targets and it worked fine. I could easily pull a single and load it over the top as a ghost load or just into the tube for the next round.Second use was on the belt with long clip at the highest spot for doing some rabbit hunting. Pulling a round was little finicky with the whole thing tending to tilt front or back on the belt, but it worked ok. For things where speed is not required its a convenient way to keep some shells handy without having to reach into a pouch. Would be good for follow up loads if I was bird hunting.Overall its mid way between a speed rig and using a pouch. If you have a reason to carry some special shells (like the slugs for a 3G stage) then its handy. I found it most stable using both mounting points on the molle straps, but it worked ok on a belt.

Mine holds 10 without issue
My first though was that this seems a bit bulky but after using it a bit I think that really for what it holds its reasonably compact and it does make pulling rounds very easy. Just slide your thumb through the slot and they are naturally in your hand. Its advertised as holding 8 rounds but I was able to fit 10 in. They don't sit as pretty at the top but they do stay in fine. The case does have a little flex to it at the seams. It does seem reasonably sturdy in that I know I'm not going to break it but if you're is going to take a lot of hits I'd worry a little. I wish the clips were something a little stronger too. When mounted I don't foresee any issues though if you pull the clips back too far they will probably break. It doesn't seem cheaply made but at the same time it's not indestructible.

Works Great & Quick!
Worked really well and holds my shells well. Made for quick work to load when I messed with it. I haven't gotten to take it out and try it in the field yet but I'll update if my opinion on it changes. Hope you find this helpful!

It’s a Pez Dispenser for your Shotshells
This a fun range toy that is durably constructed and thoughtfully crafted. I like that the clips are removeable so that you can mount it on either a belt or on a molle vest. It’s a tad on the heavy side at 9.6 oz, but more precise to use than a dump-bag or hip pouch, and easier to access than a bandolier.I found it difficult to manipulate with gloves on, especially with the exit point on top. When I inverted it so that it was feeding from the bottom, it worked much better. I could sort of pull and lift at the same time on a shell, and the shell would pop right out.Although useful, it is a bit bulky and probably best for competition use or tactical training.

shotgun speed loader
It is rugged and holds the shells securely. I was able to fit 10 shells in, which is 2 more than they advertise. My only complaint is that the edges of where you feed the shells into is kinda sharp. I cut my fingers a few times as I was loading it.

Works exactly as it should!
This is a handy way to have some extra 12 gauge rounds at hand without having a bandoleer. Overall, this is a good bit of kit. It's plastic, but then, everything is these days.
