Exactly what I was hoping for
It's definitely more wobbly than a normal ladder, but it doesn't feel unstable. It's got a nice weight distribution and the locks are solid. I used it for maintenance on a two-story home without issues. You might want to back something heavy up to the base depending on the ground because the feet are grippy but not made to dig in at all. Overall, I'm a fan.

Kinda awkward
This thing works as advertised. If you extend for top first, your left with a big step to the first step and a wobblyladder. . And if you extend from bottom up its very awkward and you can only extend so far until it's out of reach, and makes it very very top heavy. All in all, I dig it. It's compact, easy to use minus its quarks and gets the job done.

Convenient, but flexes more than I'm comfortable with.
It's easy to transport, easy to store, collapses down really small. Easy to raise and easy to lower (just watch your fingers!). But when extended and I climb it, it flexes enough under my weight that it doesn't feel sturdy. It hasn't actually broken or anything, and probably won't, but the bend in the poles when I climb it makes me nervous anyway. I only weigh 180 lbs, so it's not like I'm at or exceeding the carry limit. Otherwise, it's a great portable ladder!

Great for getting jobs done around the house without a large ladder taking up a lot of space.
I bought this because I have a long architectural ledge that runs along my living wall that's about 9 feet up, where I keep a few art pieces and decorations. Getting up there to clean, add things, and put decorations up for holidays is a hassle. Prior to buying this, I had to drag the 12-foot ladder out of the garage, set it up, and move it every couple of feet, it was very cumbersome. I thought this might be better, and I was right.First of all, it's very compact for what it does. It folds down neatly and has a strap to keep it tight between uses. It fits in my broom closet next to my vacuum. It's not very heavy, it has some weight but that's to be expected if you want something that can safely hold up the weight of an adult. Each step locks up into place as you expand the length of the ladder so you can adjust the height for just what you need it for. I suggest you start expanding from the bottom so you don't have stacked steps to try and climb onto when you're climbing the ladder. The ladder has a little bit of flex as you're using it, but I haven't had any safety issues with it and it is a multi-jointed ladder, unlike a solid a-frame, so I understand why the flex is there.I have used this ladder inside my home and outside and I love it. Take precautions to follow the ladders instructions upon folding for storage so you don't hurt your fingers and each step drops back down into position.I love it! Highly recommended!

Extremely Unstable and UNSAFE!!
The worse purchase I have made on Amazon. The Ladder while heavy is extremely unstable and unsafe. All you can really do is go up and down to a low roof or upper floor. You can not work while standing on it as it shakes a lot.Return was a nightmare as you have to deal directly with the seller. Seller at first wanted me to cover the cost of shipping. After a few emails, they emailed me an UPS return level, HOWEVER, it did not include the cost of boxing the ladder. I had to pay $69.99 for the box. When I reached out to them to get reimburse for the packaging, they declined to pay for it as I did not mention that I needed a box.???WTF?There is NOTHING on their page stating that the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost or to SAVE the box in case you need to return the item.Amazon was no help as well in trying to get my money back. Moving forward, I will end my subscription at the end of this year. In the mean time, I will simply go to Home Depot if I need to purchase any tools.

Well made ladder
This ladder is very well made. I bought it to clean out my gutters. Very good material. Heavy weight, easy to operate.

Steps to distant, and does not feel safe when climbing. Returns are Not good.!
So received the ladder today. The 16footer is a bit heavy but lifts easy. After extending it and trying to climb, the steps are to far distant and narrow. Doesn't feel safe trying to climb up. It also bends a lot and makes climbing unsteady. When trying to return you print out a bar code for you to put into the package BUT will not send the mailing address for 5 days ---- "The Seller will provide a Return Mailing Label within 5 days of your return request date."What's up with that? why not, like with so many other companies on Amazon don't they just give you the address to send it? Because of that reason, i won't being doing any other business with EldonRainbow.

Very nice lader, even for a heavy guy
This ladder is very easy to use (portable) and very sturdy. I like how I can extend it to intermediate lengths so it works for many applications. I bought it to allow met to get on the roof of my travel trailer (no built in ladder) and it works very well for that. I have been using it for pretty much every other application where a straight ladder fits the bill. Recommend.
