Logitech Wii Vantage USB Microphone

I'm really surprised that Amazon still allows the seller (Galactics) to post a picture of a microphone with a Logitech logo and allow the seller to send you a microphone with a Konami lable on it instead. I ordered this microphone through Amazon and returned it this week, becuase I paid more money to get one branded as Logitech. The same Konami model is less expensive on Amazon.com. The microphone I received came in a clear plastic bag with no instructions and no warranty information. There are enough reviews of upset customers, but Amazon continues to allow this product to be marketed with th wrong picture. My rating here applies to Amazon.com and to Galactics. I did not even open the microphone to try it out, since I could return it and buy a less expensive identical one being marketed under the Konami name.

After ordering the mic I read some of the reviews and was disappointed to see the logo Konami on the mic that I received. However, I researched on internet, this is the mic that Logitech makes. It is just a name for it, not a completely different brand. So before anyone returns this mic, just check what it says on the middle part of the cable of the microphone. It says Logitech. So it is original Logitech mic. No need to worry about it. As far as it working, just tested it: works great. If it doesn't last long for any reason I will update this review, but to me it will be ok if it lasts for a year, having in mind we will use it only once in a while.

I too read the reviews and thought I chose correctly when I ordered a Logitech Wii Vantage USB Microphone, but when it was delivered it was the Konami Brand. The label read 'Official Konami USB Logitech Microphone [White] [PS2, PS3, XI 360, Wii]. This was not the microphone in the picture, it is smaller and looks cheaper. I am very unhappy about this purchase. I can not even give them credit for quick delivery because Amazon shipped it, and they are always great with delivery. So disappointed, I was so looking forward to using it with the game I bought a couple months ago and finally decided to play.

If you buy this product do not buy from World Wide Distributors. They will send you the wrong mic. They will send you a cheap konami mic. The WII vantage is a way better mic and works with more titles than the cheap konami mic. It also cost less then half of what the Wii Vantage mic does. So make sure not to do what I did and order from these guys. Their crooks they wouldn't even refund my shipping and even tryed to refund me a less amount than what I paid. BEWARE !!!

This item is falsely advertised. The description clearly says, "Logitech". On top of that, the picture of the mic clearly has a "Logitech" logo on it. Supercoop llc sent me 2 "Konami" microphones. I read the reviews before this and saw that it was a common problem with other distributors, so I purposely ordered from this company. Unfortunately, this company did the same exact thing!! Logitech microphones operate with several other Wii games and is higher quality than the cheap Konami knock-offs. I'm HIGHLY disappointed.

I ordered this microphone so my daughter could sing along with Taylor Swift on Band Hero. All the packaging and the invoice said it was a Logitech microphone, but the mic itself says Konami. It's definitely not the world's best microphone. My daughter has to hold it very close to her mouth and sing pretty loudly to be heard, even after adjusting the mic levels on the game. I didn't want to spend a whole lot on a mic, because I didn't know if my daughter would like the game, and I got what I paid for. My six-year-old isn't bothered by the mic's poor performance, but it drives me crazy. We will definitely be upgrading at some point.

I got the mic but i haven't tried it on any game yet but for those who say that the mic says KONAMI in the front is doesn't matter if you connect it to a PC it will say LOGITECH MICROPHONE so don't worry about it.I'm gonna refresh this review when i test it out later.UPDATE: Works with any game that needs an USB mic tried it on the Wii and i was amazed that i could plug it in the ps3 and use it in Call of Duty MW3 works in PC as well for skype and all.

Perfect replacement Wii microphone, thisa is my third, first one I purchased from another seller, said it would work with Wii, but didn't. This one worked perfectly first and every time after, Thank you.. Would make the same purchase again..And for you folks complaining it's not Logitech, you are incorrect, IT IS LOGITECH, look on the cord on the end where the USB plug is, there is a plastic piece attached, that shows the company and serial. hello?

Extremely pleased with this company!!! My original order got lost in the mail (due to holiday season) Once I notified them they sent a replacement. Very impressed. The microphone looks awesome and I know my daughter will spend many hours singing along to her Wii!! Thanks so much!!!

I got this as a gift and it was delivered super fast, I would recommend it for everyone who likes to sing.
