Pipe leak did not work. Pipe was too rusty and dirty. May work on clean plastic pipe.

I keep this tape on hand all of the time! I use it for everything, but mostly... outdoor plumbing repairs. It is amazing! It is literally rubbery and stretchy! It is so durable too that the adhesion never unwinds and never comes apart, even years later - through seasons of Connecticut snow, rain, etc. this tape holds up outdoors! It is amazing! For example, I use it to mend holes in garden hoses. Rather than toss the hose, I wrap this around the holes and the leak will disappear forever! Often the end of the hose that meets the spigot (the metal part of the hose) will rust and start leaking everywhere when you turn on the water spigot. I just wrap this tape around both the rubber part of the hose and the metal part of the hose and it will plug up the leak (literally completely!) You can use it as electrical tape too, only it is way better than electrical tape because it never unwinds like electrical tape. It will stay in place forever! (Unless you want to take it off, then you just peel it off.) I use it to mend extension cords too and to cover the ends of extension cords of holiday lights etc. The possibilities are endless!

This tape sticks to itself but NOT to any other surface. So it is ONLY for a repair where it wraps completely around the leak. It can not be used for a leak on a flat surface. I gave it 3 stars because it did stick to itself so it will probably work. But the description doesn't make its limitations clear.

Worked good. I would recommend only for small leaks.

I bought thinking its not going to work. You have to play with it a bit. The tape fusses to it self. The secret is to wined it on itself tightly. No instructions came in my package. Cost is One start o_0

I had a running toilet and had to turn off the water to fix it. My home has the original plumbing (built in 1981) so I am sure the knob hadn't been turned in ages. After I fixed the toilet and turned the water back on, the pipe/knob started to leak. Since I don't have the funds to call a plumber, I went on Amazon to try to find something to stop the leak. I saw many things and decided to order this tape. I ended up using both rolls and wrapped it around it the entire knob and pipe. I am sure there was a more professional way to do it, but not having a clue of what I was doing, that is what I did. It worked -- the leak stopped! The tape can become stuck on itself if you are not careful about using it but other than that, it did the job! The tape stretches so you can wrap it tightly around the pipe. Absolutely worth the 16 bucks!

Used on two water hose slices. It let the water drip out one end on the one repair and on the one that held, it created a bubble then burst within a couple minutes of use. Don’t use under pressure.

Taped a 1/4 copper pipe with a hole about the size of the tip of a pen. It took several pieces that didn't work because of how I was wrapping it. Eventually I used very little and just wrapped it straight around the hole. I had to put a hose clamp just to be sure. I didn't take the hose clamp off to check. It might have been excessive. Very cligy tape. Not sure it would hold 950psi...depends on the hole I guess.

今回は、給水管の水漏れに使用しましたが、厚手に何層も巻きしばらくは大丈夫でしたが、最終的には菅の取り換えをしました。水圧の強い箇所には難しいと思いました。しかしながら、製品自体は素晴らしいもので関心しました。一時的な補修とうには非常に役立つものだと思いました。流石にDIYが盛んな外国製品ですね。

縦置きの水缶の蛇口が扱いにくかったので、他の水缶の蛇口を取り付けてみたところ、若干サイズが合わなかったので、このテープでぐるぐる巻きにしました。今のところ水漏れなく、しっかり融着しています。

Knew at the point we bought this it may not be suitable for what we needed it for (leak on toilet), but bought a couple of products to see what would work best. This tape unfortunately didn't solve the problem but definitely not a fault of the product at all. Adhesion is super and exactly as advertised, sticks to itself really strongly so had no issues winding it around pipes and creating a seal. Keeping the rest for emergencies and would be happy to buy again for burst pipes etcUPDATE 06/01/21: Moved into a new house and had a small leak on the pipe that feeds the bathroom hot tap. Used this to fix it, worked perfectly. Grips tightly to itself and 8 months on still strongly wrapped around the pipe with no water escaping through. Would definitely buy it again if needed

Did not stop the leak. Used this to around a 15mm diameter copper water pipe that had sprung a leak.had bodged some epoxy over the leak that had not stopped it completely but had slowed it.Wrapped this tape around pipe and epoxy hoping it might seal it or reduce flow further.Did not seem to reduce flow at all. Probably wrapped this tape around a 5 - 6 cm run of epoxy covered pipe.It wasn't just that the water leaked from the end where I did not have much clearance between epoxy end and a nut at a junction. The water leaked out all along the wrapping of the tape. It did stick to itself such that I could not unstick tape accidentally folded onto itself. But pretty useless for stopping leaks in this case.
