BLW, Twin Mom Smock Comparison
First off, yes I have my hands full.TLDR: Buy Bumkins. Twinkle stretches out.I bought 2 Bumkins and 2 Twinkle smocks and thought I would compare them for others on the fence.Bumkins Pros:- Great elastic at wrist! Still stretchy after heavy, regular use for both my petite twin and chunkier twin. No food goes up their wrist/arm.- Easy to clean fabric, I rinse both smocks in hot water after every meal and machine wash every 2 days/4 uses. Yes, mine stained. I stain treated the first time and it helped but ain’t nobody got time for that. Hang dry, but have been in a pinch and used the dryer. They feel very clean and have not broken down.- “Extra material” is a BLESSING! Snip out the seam making 2 pockets like others said, to make one big one. It will catch food at restaurants better. But if you have the Antilop IKEA chair, before snapping the trails down, hook the pocket on under the tray hooks then push down. Food stay off their laps AND out of their seats! Plus they can easily pick up food from their pocket. So less waste! When removing the tray pop it up like normal, then bring forward and the bib will unhook, and remaining food fall back into the top of the bib keeping the seat cushion clean.- Water resistant! Both twins drink from an open cup and their clothes stay dry.Bumkins Cons:- You have to rip a seam out to create 1 big pocket, else the 2 are completely useless.- The tie close is a pro and con. It slips if not double knotted, making it also annoying to take off once done.- Stains, just like the rest of the other smocks.Twinkle Pros:- Nice packaging!- Very thick fabric, that cleans well.- Hardly stains at all! Ours is only darker in some places. Even post pasta sauce!- Velcro neck for easy on and off.- Prettier fabric designs.- Water resistant, both twins drink from an open cup and both clothes stay dry.Twinkle Cons:- It’s tapered compared to Bumkins and the material is too thick, meaning it’s difficult to snap my high chair tray on top of it just right to keep food out. This is a huge draw back for me!- The elastic wrist gave it up in 3-4 months of use. So we have to roll these up a specific way to keep food out and to not fall down covering babies hands. This is THE draw back for me and why I won’t buy more. It got used and washed less, yet the wrist are like double the size of our Bumkins.- The velcro neck won’t go any tighter and I have stained necks on the clothes of my petite twin.- Pretty, but less functional.

Well made, a little bulky and some weird design aspects
I purchased this, the Bumkin super bibs, and the Green Sprouts longsleeved snap and go bib for use with baby lead weaning with my infant, starting at 6 months old. This is well made, easy to clean, and does a decent job of handling baby’s mess. However the fabric is bulky and my baby finds the excess fabric very distracting while eating. He’s big (in 12 month clothes) so I imagine this would be even more of an issue with an average or smaller sized 6 month old. The Green Sprouts bib by comparison is supposed to be for ages 12 to 24 months old, but fits him nice and trim, although I’m not sure it will last him as long. At this point, I don’t love the tie behind the neck on this bib. I can’t quite get it snug enough to prevent food from dribbling down the neck hole, and I think the standard Velcro fasteners on the other bibs make them faster to get on and off. However sometimes the Velcro scratches my baby’s neck and the tie never irritates his skin so that’s a plus. My baby also isn’t attempting to rip off his bibs, so I can see how a tie would be preferable for toddlers who do that. As others have commented, I don’t understand why the bib pocket is tacked shut in the center. My guess is that if you use these bibs for arts and crafts that bit of stitching makes it easier to use the pocket to carry crayons or paintbrushes, but it’s not helpful for feeding at all. The super bibs (by the same company) are not sewn this way and those pockets work much better for catching food. Also I wish the elastic around the hand holes was a darker color - on my bib the whole bib is trimmed in orange but those are white, so whereas the rest of the bib has resisted staining, the cuffs are prone to discoloration from orange or red foods like carrots or tomato sauce. Right now the cuffs fit my baby well - snug enough to prevent food from getting inside the sleeve and down his arms but not so tight that they cut into his skin. I do like that the bib is easy to wipe down and dries quickly, and it appears to be well made and durable. I suspect we will get a lot of use out of this, especially with the generous sizing, assuming the cuffs don’t get too tight as he grows.

Easy to clean bib
This bib is amazing for little ones starting to be introduced to solid food! Our daycare uses this brand and suggested it for home use. The sleeves keep our little’s arms clean and this wipes clean extremely easily. Highly recommend this bib compared to other ones with the food catcher, etc.

Game Changer
Why didn’t I start with these instead of the crappy silicone bibs?! These are great.

Good, but not good enough to bother paying the extra $
This is very nice. The material is sturdy, it cleans easily, I like the ties. There's nothing wrong with this bib and we like it a lot. But we have a few bibs (different brands) that are much cheaper. Is this one thicker material? Yes. Is this one dark in color to hide stains? Yes. Do I care about either of those things? No. The cheaper ones have proven to be just as durable. If you want to spend money on these, go for it, they're great. But if not, save yourself some money and get the cheap ones - there's not enough difference to matter.

Great for nice clothes.
This is a great Bob. I recommend. However red sauce stains this. Use COLD water asap to remove. Same as you would Tupperware. You are welcome. The. Wash on cold with clothes. But it’s supposed to get dirty so who cares. We use this when we take our 18 month old out. So her nicer clothes don’t get ruined. The lap is another story. Might try the their bin with the lap thing attached.

Easy to clean and dry
This works great - covers the baby’s sleeves totally so she can get messy and not wreak her clothes. Love that it’s so thin because it dries quickly after washing and we can use it more than once in the same day. Looks like we’ll be able to use it for a long time as it’s so big!

Los mejores baberos
La mejor marca de baberos, duran un montón, tela muy fácil de lavar y se seca en muy poco tiempo.El único mega contra es el precio de algunos modelos que es absurdo (mayor a mil pesos)…

Love love love!!
I liked the style of these and the durability.. they wipe clean in seconds and are waterproof too! So no more stained clothing. Nothing I disliked. I use this bib for my 6 month old and it fits perfectly! I shall be ordering more.

De buen tamaño
Está bien, algo elevado de precio pero se siente más resistente que otros, pensé que será muy grande pero está de buen tamaño para un bebé desde los 6 meses, parece que durará bastante tiempo.

Very cute and easy to clean
Very cute bib and covers baby up well. A bit of food does slip down the top on a messy session but on the whole protects baby’s outfits mostly
