Rory's Story Cubes Medic Game

This was a great game at my assisted living facility. They really got in to the story and it was a good memory exercise game. It was so much fun to hear where the story went, changing directions several times. We did adjust the playing rules somewhat to move the game along faster. I put all the cubes into a box lid from another game, and everyone had to reach in the box and pick a cube without looking. We then allowed the players to choose any of the four sides to continue the story. This moved the game forward more quickly and kept players from choosing the "best" cube from the box. I want to get more cubes as we have more people playing on our game night. Unfortunately, I can't afford any more right now. I'd like to recommend to the manufacturer that they advertise this as a good game for adults, especially seniors, as well as children. I have no negative remarks other than how the game is advertised.

I love these story cubes, but I wish they were more easily available in the United States. This is one of the mini sets that aren't usually found in the U.S. stores. These are always well-made with well thought-out designs.

I love these dice! I think I have all but two or three of the sets. Great for writers if you're stuck and setting up your plot arc. A+
