Awesome bring your car audio to life! Only complaint is glare on screen is horrible and Bluetooth isn’t always working

After using this head unit for a over a year now I feel as though I can offer an honest and thorough review. It’s a great stereo overall except for one thing. After using it for about four months it began to develop an obnoxious issue with the Bluetooth system. Occasionally it will not automatically connect with my phone. It’s quite obnoxious because I purchased it so I wouldn’t have to fiddle around with an aid or usb before driving. Not a huge issue as it’s really only about once a month, still a nuisance though. Another issue with the Bluetooth is every time it is turned back on, the initial 2 minutes of music streamed through Bluetooth will cut out for a few seconds randomly which is so obnoxious. It’s only for the first couple of minutes but still, it is infuriating when you’re trying to enjoy your music. It goes away, and free that it’s perfect, but I would not recommend this head unit to someone. Find one that doesn’t do this because it is quite annoying.**3 Year Update**The head unit mostly functions the way it did when I bought it, Bluetooth is still weird sometimes, most of the time functioning perfecting. USB jack in the front has become loose, so when the cable is bumped it disconnects and has to be fiddled with in order to reconnect, which is strange because I have always kept a sufficiently long cable plugged in and it never got removed very Often so I’m confused as to how it would develop such an issue from wear and tear. The second usb jack that is a cable running from the back of the stereo seems to have a power issue of some sort, when plugged in for longer than 10 minutes it gives an error message on the screen. Sound is still good though, and the hands free calling system Is very good, which I hadn’t realized until buying a second newer car that came with hands free, and the hands free in the newer car never works properly. Never had an issue with the hands free in this stereo though. Sound is still excellent, all buttons and dials function properly after a ton of use. Overall it’s still a decent head unit, even in 2020. I just wish the Bluetooth was consistently good.

Installed into a 2009 Jeep JK unlimited running the amazon spurced kicker oem upgrade speakers and works very well. Be sure to ise the proper adapter for making it power up like the oem units and light up with dash lights properly. It is a very good upgrade to oem and syncs well with phones.

Radio was not even working properly, it was turning on and off repeatedly in aux mode. Thought it was a wiring error so I brought it to a professional and they stated the radio was damaged! Why do they have a title “Refurbished” when surely it was NOT. I’m never buying a used item on amazon again.

Only lasted a little over a year before starting to fall apart. Nearly every other time I drive, at some point the audio cuts out and a message pops up that reads "Audio output error"

This is a powerful headunit with tons of features. I replaced the factory system in my prius with this, pairing it with infinity & JBL component speakers in all 4 doors and a Rockford fosgate powered 12 in. Sub in the hatch. The unit drives my setup with ease. The sound is crisp , powerful and clean.

I got a used warehouse unit that was as good as new. Missing a some documentation but manuals are online. Great power and sound, could look better. If it had 3 smaller lines of text instead of two and a face that didnt look like an early 2000s Sony boombox, it would be perfect. Some issues at first with bluetooth and NFC but it fixed itself. Have yet to really play around with sound settings much. Running Polk DB components off of it in an access cab 2010 Tacoma and it sounds much better than stock stereo and is louder than the Kenwood headunit I had.
