I originally bought 1 set off of restrofitsource. Then needed another set so I got these. Unknowingly and not reading the small description, THESE ARE VERSION 2, the ones on retrofit are version 1.

The fit good. I had to modify the stock housing to fit properly.

Kinda annoying that the parts needed to be trimmed off at the top, about 4mm for them to fit, apart from that, they look great, it was a hassle to saw this off. The e46 light cover does cover where I needed to saw them, so I didn’t need to sand down and respray. They do look perfect once fitted though.

Great quality shrouds that give an OEM look. The key is that this kit includes centric rings which are needed for proper fitment to a projector (a Morimoto H1 mini in my case). The shrouds do require sanding about a 1/2 inch from the top of the shroud to fit in the OEM E46 housing, which is not difficult with a Dremel.

They won't for without significant trimming. I actually decided not to use them because I didn't feel like butchering them.
