Love it
Best tv I’ve had so far. The image/picture quality is great, the setup was easy, it’s very responsive and it’s easy to continue shows started from another device.

Great Budget 4K TV
I used this to replace a 40" Samsung 1080p TV to get the 4K experience out of the PS5. I am no TV expert but the image quality to me is excellent. I tested with a UHD bluray via PS5 and it was exceptional. It does support a lot of features, however a couple of the settings and menus only appear when content that support them are playing. I learned of this via tech steves youtube videos. The google based interface is fast and snappy. I primarily use Netflix and Prime but was pleasantly surprised to see that KODI was available for download. I also like that the HDMI inputs can be renamed which is probably standard fare for recent TVs but was new to me. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the quality of the internal sound as I use a Samsung receiver 5.1 setup. As for gaming it supported VRR out of the box requiring no manual intervention and the PS5 output was set to 4K 60HZ automatically. There are various display and HDR modes available but I set it to "Game" mode. In game mode it did seem as though the colours lost some vibrancy but I will admit it looks much softer and feels easier on the eyes. While this TV is only 60HZ, it is probably unlikely that the more graphical intensive titles on the PS5 will be able to go over 60fps. It was also less than a third of the price of 120HZ capable TVs at least when I purchased it for 220USD. It's an excellent TV for the price range, just be aware that some sizes are VA instead of IPS so do your research(I believe tech steve had a listing of the sizes and panel types they come with).

Nice TV But Was It New?
I watched video after video of unboxing of this TV on Youtube.com. Without fail each person would remove the large sheet of protective plastic off the screen. My TV came with no such protective plastic. Just a roll of packing tape around the outside edges holding the marketing materials in place. Makes me think it's a return sold to me as new. Not good.As far as the TV goes, it's nice. Has a great picture, some great features. The Google TV setup is really invasive as far as privacy is concerned. It asks for Google account sign to setup the TV then will show every channel you are subbed to on Youtube.com. There's more but if you are concerned about privacy you've been warned. The good thing is the TV offers two setups, one for Google TV or just basic. Basic will allow no privacy issues and you can use it like most TVs with cable, blueray players, or gaming system or even over the air antenna. You can connect to the internet with either wifi or ethernet connection. I setup as Google TV at first. But the home screen shoves "buy this " in your face over letting you see your favorites apps first. Since I have a Roku player I just set up the TV again as basic and used that. Some functions I liked though are the reset button on the back. It allows you to reset to factory settings and the choose Google TV or basic setup. If you're unhappy with your choice, just reset and set up it again. The other thing some were saying the there is a button for Menu at the bottom of the TV and their TV didn't have it. I thought so on my as well. Looked everywhere and there was nothing but a red light plastic thing that does nothing. Well the menu button is actually behind that. Strange place for it and hard to find but it's there is remote batteries go back. Also Hisense TVs do not come with 4k activated. You have change settings in the HDMI settings to advance format. This is under menu on remote not settings. Overall a nice TV but the Google TV is just too much and cluttered. Prefer my Roku which plays well with this TV. I give this 4 stars as I think I was sent a return or used one.

Terrible Choice
UPDATE:I finally found the perfect spot for my ironically named Hisense TV! See picture. The move away from smart tv's is on, and for good reason. I chose a Google TV device, as I live in android land. I wanted: 40 - 43 inch set, 4k, Google TV, e-ARC enabled so that one remote controls both TV and soundbar. Sounds simple. NOT! After sloshing through site after site, page after page, gotta be well over a hundred tv's, I found exactly one that fit the bill. It does have more features than you might expect at this price. Voice activated remote is really handy. The bezel is very thin, which makes the screen image stand out. That's the best I can say about the image. Out of the box, it's surprising how unimpressive it is. The image quality of this TV is 3 stars at most - even after a LOT of tweaking. Not that bright, not that crisp. HDR pretty much useless. I mean the picture's good, but aren't we way beyond just "good" for tv displays these days? 1 year warranty. Meh. Surprisingly, the sound from the onboard speakers is quite good. So...it's ok for where it is, the bedroom, but that's about it. Seems to be the higher grade Hisense tv's are getting better and receiving better reviews, so there's that, but here's my two cents for this one.UPDATE: Bluetooth not functioning. Wired headphones output not working. Subtracting one star. The bad outweighs the good. I wouldn't recommend.UPDATED 2: VERY slow to respond to remote control commands. Glitchy. Freezes frequently. Image melts into extreme blur randomly and frequently. Audio/video frequently out of sync.In case you didn't catch it yet....POS.
