When we adopted our cat a few months ago, we quickly discovered that he's an EXTREMELY picky eater. We tried multiple kinds of wet food with him, including canned and pouches, even other Wellness brand pouches. With every other wet food, he'd lick the moisture or broth off then abandon the meat to dry out (what we call "lickin' the chicken" in our house). This is the only type of wet food that makes him clear his plate, although he does sometimes leave the chicken flavor. It's only about 30 calories so his dry food is his main source of nutrition, but these little pouches spice up his diet.The pouch is a pain to open. If you tear across the top the broth splashes out all over the place, so I use scissors.It's cheaper ($1.30 per pouch) at PetSmart, but Amazon works when we're having a busy week and can't get to the store.Update: Okay, several months later the cat no longer finishes this and we had to switch. C'est la vie.

My dogs actually spins in circles for these. I use as a topper on dry food for their evening meal. The portion size could be larger. I share 1 packet for 2 dogs. Otherwise, these are great and I live the flavor variety.

So far so good. I have been feeding this to my cat Ophie for the past few days and she seems to really like it. It gets gobbled up in a vert short period of time! I like the fact that it is simple ingredients in a broth (get that hydration) and you can even smell the fish and know that it is going to be good for them.

My finicky queen eats grain free food and finding a wet food has been a nightmare until these packets which I agree are hard to open smell and give to her but she's mostly feral it's what she loves, and I mean she eats it up all that water as well

I have been buying this cat food for months because my cats LOVE IT. I change the taste up by adding different flavors of toppers once in a while. As long as they eat it I will keep buying it.

The description for this item clearly states 12 total pouches, or 3 of each flavor. Today I received a package with only 4 total pouches, 1 of each flavor. For $30 that is beyond ridiculous, and when attempting to get a refund or replacement of the missing items, they tell me that I have to go out of my way, during the middle of a pandemic, to mail the original back. Not happening. So enjoy my $30. But I hope future customers will be advised that they will not receive the advertised quantity.
