Brilliant product...I wish that they would've included a workout guide/routine

I've been using bands and tubes (these are the latter) for 2 years now, having seen the light. I use the tubes with three anchor points on the outside of my house, and my previous set (10 years old) were getting frayed and potentially dangerous. I was told about these fabric-protected tubes and ordered a set, and here's a few likes/dislikes.Firstly, i appreciate the easy-open clips for the handles which enables quick doubling up of tubes and passing through the anchor points. (My last ones had clips that were like a workout in themselves).There's definitely more feeling of security knowing a tube snapping is unlikely to take your eye out.On the other hand, they seem a little lightweight - i seem to need to use double or treble tubes for a lot of stuff, and i'm sure two of them are labelled the wrong way round (30 and 35lb).A critical review spoke of them seeming 'uneven' and on first use, i found one side or the other locking up, which i think was more to do with the fabric covering than the tube inside; the fabric is crimped, rather than being a stretchy material in itself.Today i experimented with them, and found the best use is to ensure the resistance is sufficient for you not to max out the tube to close-to full length; this avoids this occasional lock-up. This for me meant going up a 'weight' (adding another tube) so that at maximum exertion, the tube was at about 75% max stretch.Having discovered this, i'd have to say i'm pleased with them. The exercise chart that comes with them is next to useless, but as others have said, there is loads of material on YouTube - check out James Grage in particular, even though he prefers bands to tubes.So, one star off for the lightweight, the dubious weight allocations and having to work out a usable method to overcome this weird lock-up event.Someone else had mentioned losing the lightest weight one and replacing it with one heavier, which would make these even better.Just had a very effective session with them though!

Very easy to use for a full body workout ranging from light to surprisingly heavy resistance and packs away into a small bag too.All material are tough and durable. In fact the straps on the hand grips are quite rough so I recommend gloves with these to avoid blisters on hands. I also recommend long sleeve shirts so the bands don't rub against your arms as you perform certain exercises due to the protective outer material around the bands which is also quite rough.All attachments are very easy to use but the little sheet of exercises that it comes with isn't clear at all especially for those who are beginners but it's very easy and highly recommended to check out some resistance band workouts on YouTube.Very good product indeed overall

Great resistance bands for home workouts. I ordered them for my 19 year old daughter who loves working out with weights. So these bands are great alternative. When using them she put several colour together so it’s heavier. She usually attached them to the door for different variations. I didn’t think she will use them as much as she does. Clearly excellent buy not only when you can’t go to gym.Why I put 4 stars it’s because she would probably love instead of the lightest band to be one which is much heavier for leg workouts.

Just opened these resistance bands up and I am very pleased. Even the very basic moves I started with show these will be invaluable in my home gym set up. There appears to be a high level of exercises on offer here however I got them to try and replicate the cable machines offered at my works gym. So things like tricep press down, single arm bicep curls, chest flyes, rear delt flyes, are all catered for. I'm looking forward to my next workout, where I will start with conventional weights and then use these bands as volume training to increase the "pump" and blood flow. I believe these will also help in warming up as I'm getting on and can't just jump straight in. Not sure if they will help, however I think they will be useful for assisted chin ups which is a weak area for me.Definitely worth the money, seem like they will last and won't break but it's still early days!!

Overwhelmed with the amount of stuff that comes with this workout equipment considering how cheap it is. Comes with 5 different sets of resistance bands which are different in strength. All the bands are labelled with the weights they replicate so it’s great to add into a workout routine. The carry bag is big enough to put all the gear into and take with you, great if you’re on the go or need it easily stored without losing the items. My favourite are the door straps. It’s simple as putting the door strap behind the door, closing the door and adding the resistant bands onto the anchor. Takes seconds to set up but can give your hours of great workouts. Also comes with an exercise sheet showing you all the different exercises you can do for different body parts. Great workout kit that will be used as my regular home workout routine. No need to store big heavy weights when you can have this.

All the equipment comes individually bagged. The bands are nicely protected by an outer sheath which will prolong their use. My only criticism is the size of the hand grips. Really too small for large hands. The strap rubs on the skin and becomes irritating. Fortunately I saved the grips from my previous bands made by Bodylastics. These are larger and more sturdy to use. Apart from that, a nice product. I look forward to seeing how long the bands last after constant use.
