Update : Feb 28 2023Ice maker sat dormant but plugged in and on with light flashing for months. Cleaned it, rinsed with vodka and distilled water. Machine would not do anything but flash light. Decided to unplug. Repeatedly pressed buttons. Just let it sit for a week. Plugged in today. At first light just flashed no other response. Then I tried pressing on button again and it worked. It just made ice. Working fine. So if it acts up. Be patient. Clean it. Let it sit unplugged to possibly reset. Do not be quick to decide it no longer works.Rapid delivery. Product brand new. Removing tapes that secured the ice basket and scoop was easy. Luckily I decided to closely examine the interior and saw the tape back in underneath the control panel. I had a horrible time getting the tape removed. Finally after a most aggravating experience caused by the position of the tape, I was ready to place the ice maker in a level location and wait for refrigerant to settle.One and a half hours later, I plugged in the ice maker. I poured spring water up to max line and selected small cubes. The ice maker is busy making ice and I am very happy.

I have had this ice maker for less than 8 months and it stopped working it keeps saying Ice is full and the level won’t move back I have turned it off and on tried everything so disappointing because I loved it when it worked 😢- customer has made this right and offered me a full refund or to replace the product

Bought this for use during the summer as it's incredibly hot and our freezer ice maker can't keep up. This machine is magic. We have tons of ice for use all summer - and the ice shape and quality is great. Would highly recommend. Great ice maker for the price. My daughter in law bought an expensive ($400) machine - it died within 6 months. I bought them this one - it's a workhorse! Would highly recommend.

This is our second such icemaker and we have seen many others in relatives homes. They are all the same.Yeah, they have different brand names, finishes and lids, but the ice making parts in this class of ice-maker are from the same manufacturer. Not a bad thing. They do work.The ice is soft and hollow, not bad things - just different. The production is great for such a small device. When we have a crowd coming we stash some away in the freezer where it melds into a solid mass. Oh, well.Our problem with our device is that due to our kitchen lighting, the ice-maker would not turn off. A light sensor should get blocked when the hopper fills up but our ceiling lights continue to activate the sensor and the ice keeps coming. This was not the fault of the ice-maker except that a small design change would have prevented this. My resolution was to attached a black plastic sheet to the clear shield. Now it stops appropriately. Annoying, but not a problem for everyone I suppose.Buying again? I would look for one without the light interference issue. They are, in their heart, all the same.

Ice maker went out last month. It was loud and hard to clean. Lasted for a little over a year and now it’s dead. Not that great of quality.. I recommend a name brand one
