It took a month and a half to receive the item. I used it so I could cut an orange into sections and my knife left noticeable cuts in the item. This is no cutting board. Stay away from this item and this company.

Wanted something heat resistant can put hot pan without any mark. Replaced glass one because glass dulls knives.Wish it was a little bigger husband still gets stuff on the bamboo slide in board which is a hassle to clean.Would like a 14"x18" this to small still make mess of pullout cutting board.

I was surprised at how sturdy this is.
