Triple Screen 4K Gaming, Very fast card, much better value than new 3090 or 3090ti as of July '22
As others have reviewed this card did had slight coil whine when I first got it. PowerColor on the box recommends at least a 950W PSU and I only had an EVGA 850W Gold so I upgraded to a EVGA 1000W Platinum PSU and the coil whine went away and is even quieter than my wife's PowerColor 6800XT. This is a heavy card so I highly recommend using the included GPU bracket to prevent card sag long term and PCIE x16 socket stress. I play triple screen 4k games, (75% of 8k resolution) and stock card settings on COD Vanguard with ultra settings, triple 4k, FSR set to ultra quality, I get 85-90 fps with dips down to 75 so it keeps my 70hz 4k monitors well fed. Flight Simulator 2020 gets 22-25fps on high settings triple 4k so enough to fly but not ultra smooth, such a non optimized game. Far cry 5 triple is 45-55 fps on ultra so a bit lower. I should note these numbers are with Smart Access Memory enabled as well. Also for context my CPU is a Ryzen 9 - 5950x. I have found that AMD's eyefinity surround works much better and more consistent than nVidia surround. I did have an EVGA 3070 and had soo many issues with surround, like disabling monitors in windows after leaving surround mode. I like eyefinity's ability to go into surround only when playing games as this is my work-from-home PC so for premier pro, affinity publisher and the like I prefer the normal Windows scaling experience. This card pulls around 289W on stock settings and temps are decent (70c), enabling extra watts via +20% power makes this card pull 346 watts and gets very warm, (82c-85c). My case is a Thermaltake View 71 (Large Case) and my CPU is on a 360 radiator so there is decent airflow with my additional 5 case fans. I did buy a damaged box card (saved $150 buying from Amazon Warehouse) and the card has been great so far.

Amazing card!
This card is an absolute gaming monster! It handles everything I throw at it with ease, including MSFS and Plague Tale Requiem at 4k. Overclocking and undervolting is an absolute breeze with AMD’s Adrenaline software. I’ve not had any significant coil whine issues some seem to have, but that could be due to the power supply I’m using : Corsair RM1000x. Speaking of components, the rest of my system is as follows: CPU: i5-13600k CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Peerless Assassin 120 MOBO: MSI MAG MORTAR DDR4 WiFi RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance 3600 CL18 Fans: Arctic P12 and P14 PWM ARGB For the 3DMark scores posted, I had the power slider set to +15, voltage left alone at 1200, GPU clock sliders set to 2700-2800, and memory on fast timings @2312mhz. I’m running mine in a Lian Li O11 Air Mini with 140mm fans in front of it, and 120mm under it constantly supplying fresh air so my temps are great. Highest junction temp I saw while benchmarking was 92, with the GPU temp between 70-72 at the most. For regular old gaming, I don’t run that OC profile. My particular card doesn’t seem to undervolt very well, I was getting constant crashes in Time Spy under 1135mv regardless of clocks. So for gaming, I run an UV profile of 2500-2600 core clocks, fast memory timings @2312, power slider at 0, and voltage @1140, and a custom fan curve that starts gradually ramping up at 55*C. Even running Microsoft Flight Sim at 4k, I’ve never seen GPU temps go above 65* with temps typically hovering between 55 and 60. The only negative is that the fans are pretty loud when they get going. I do have mine set pretty aggressively as I’d rather sacrifice a bit of noise for a cooler running system since I typically have a headset on anyways. But if you don’t game with a headset, you will hear the fans when they ramp up. All that said this is a phenomenal card that only BARELY loses to the new 7900XT. AMD 6000 series cards also do not seem to have been plagued by the driver issues of 5000 series and now seemingly the 7000 series cards. If you’re looking for a high end card, the 6950XT is pretty hard to beat at 780 bucks unless you’re lucky enough to find a 6900XT sub 700.

Huge bang for your buck. What a beast!
I have a 3440x1440 (UWQHD) ultra wide 144Hz monitor. At resolutions just over 2K, this GPU is amazing! Every game I have played is an amazing experience. Coil noise is apparent, but doesn't really bother me. Never had a single driver issue, and handles ray tracing decently well. I've actually undervolted this card, and saved about 100 watts of power usage. Every game still runs perfectly with no noticeable difference in gameplay whatsoever. I'm not a frame rate chaser. IMO higher frames does not immediately dictate a "better" GPU. If a GPU can handle my desired resolution at right around 60 FPS, it's a fantastic GPU for my application. Here's the average frame rate for some of the more popular games I play (stock GPU power settings). Cyberpunk, Ultra Settings, RT off - 62 FPS average Cyberpunk, Ultra Settings, RT on, FSR set to Balanced - 59 FPS average Forza Horizon 5, Extreme settings, RT on (max setting) - 93 FPS average Stray, max settings - 67 FPS average Apex Legends, max settings - (frame cap) 144 FPS constantly, no lower Subnautica Below Zero, max settings - (frame cap) 144 FPS constantly, no lower Assetto Corsa, max settings - (frame cap) 144 FPS constantly, no lower Rocket League, max settings - (frame cap) 144 FPS consistently The Last of Us, max settings - 63 FPS average

Great Card, solid offering from team red
I’ve had the card a few months now. There’s a few things that have stood out to me. I purchased before the price drops of all the current cards at time of writing, do I feel like I should have waited? Yeah, but I don’t feel like I was ripped off. This card blows away anything I throw at it. Red devil has a lead to allow the card to the motherboards rgb header, so it matches the motherboard rgb colors for an easier rgb matching. Team red offers a top end gpu with stable drivers, I’ve had less issues with the programs I work with compared to my previous gpu (2080 Super). I don’t use any driver software such as adrenaline or GeForce now, so that doesn’t make a huge difference to me. Overall, great card. Quiet, fast, handles everything I throw at it at 4K or 1440 ultra wide.

Incredible Performance
Aside from the amazing performance, this cards construction is impeccable. It's built like a tank. The back plate and fan shroud are heavy metal and worthy of being considered artwork. I wont even get into the benchmark numbers other than to say they are impressive. Top tier to say the least. My build consists of an x570 Aorus Xtreme rev 1.1, Ryzen 9 5950x, Aorus 360mm aio, G.Skill F43600C14-16GTZN 32gb, Sabrent 1tb Rocket 4 Plus, EVGA supernova 1000w Gold+ PSU, and of course Powercolor Red Devil 6950 xt. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to use my uphere graphics card bracket as it supports the card very well and adds much needed rgb under the card instead of sudden darkness. Even under extreme loads for sustained periods of time the thermal solution keeps things cool and quiet. All this is wrapped up in a Phantexs Full tower case. It's a work station but I play games on it as well. Now I can do both even better. The one and only thing I wish they had done was put the rgb Red Devil Logo on the front edge like they did on the 5700xt. Otherwise my review is 100% 5 star. I highly recommend this product to anyone that wants top of the line performance and great value.

Doesn't work well with separate refresh rate monitors
This is a great card and a lot better than my 1070 that I upgraded from, but one thing I didn't account for when buying this is my 2 monitors have different refresh rates. My 1070 had no issue with this, but this new card had massive stuttering issues. I did fix it by using my integrated graphics on my 12700k for my second monitor, but if you don't have integrated graphics or have more than 2 monitors it might be a real issue. It can get a bit hot unless you mess with the fan curve and it will be loud when the fans are running at 75% or more, but AMD's software's fan tuning allows you to hit a fairly decent balance. Although it should be noted, you cannot run MSI afterburner at all when using AMD's fan tuning software as it will completely reset your fan tuning to factory defaults on launch. This is probably just a problem with afterburner though. The fan tuning also has a nice feature that turns the fans off at a lower temp than it turns the fans on, so the fans aren't constantly turning on and off. It's also a fairly large card, but it fits well in my corsair 4000D Airflow

Beastly Gpu for on sale for prices sub 750$
I know that the GPU market has been a disaster for the past 5 years, but I finally got a flagship card that can actually deliver flagship performance. I wanted a 1080ti years ago but ended up settling for a 1070ti. Then the mining boom hit and cards were insanely overpriced for many generations. Well this bad boy delivers a solid 4k60 fps in demanding titles with max settings all the way to 4k 240+ fps in others. And in some like rocket league, over 500fps. It’s kind of mind boggling how fast cards have gotten, but there’s only so much further gpu’s can go, and until they have brain dances like in cyberpunk, I think I’ll be fine with this card. Also to note! The ray tracing performance is better than nvidia’s first generation of it, and! That 4k60 fps number was with raytracing on in cyberpunk with the card clocked to the moon at 2750min 2850 max 1100mv vcore and 2460 with fast timings on the memory. The fans are a little noisy, but considering she can pull just shy of 400 watts from the wall (393watts @ 1189mv highest I’ve seen yet) and bouncing off 100c. But I cut the voltage back, and now I see sub 85c junction temp (usually 65c on the edge so a 20 degree junction) @ 80% fan speed roughly 2350-2450 rpm. Which, with my case fans, I can hardly hear. But if she hits 90c I have the fans set to crank. And the fans are very loud, but not as piercing as my old 1070ti was that I kept the fans screaming on for maximum clockage. I like my tech staying cool and hopping from 10 series staying in the low 60’s to seeing that gpu hotspot hit 100c had me nervous. But all seems well a month later and the card still beats down everything I’ve thrown at it and the thermal paste has settled some as well. Will be looking into if powercolor will let me change my own paste

Terrible Coil Whine
This is a beautiful graphics card. However, strait out of the box I’ve been experiencing an absurd amount of coil whine. I mean to the point where I can hear it through my headphones, 7 case fans, and the metal pc case itself. It is much more noticeable in person. I know it isn’t my PSU as it is an EVGA 1000w 80 +Gold (more than enough for this card), and the other GPU that I have on hand does not have the same issue. The whine is happening at a mere 240 watts (this card is built to go well above 300 and even 400). Also, coil whine is considered a fault of the PSU when you are maxing out it’s wattage rating or it is subpar in terms of quality. This is in no way close assuming my total system power consumption might have been 500 watts in this instance. Not to mention I have also under-volted the card and it occurs at sub 200 watts and even mildly in in-game menus at 60fps when the power draw is at its minimum. Additionally, the card has an immense amount of stuttering at both default and overclocked settings in Warzone in particular (this is a known discrepancy with AMD cards as I’ve come to find out). I understand that coil whine isn’t out of the ordinary but this is unbearably bad, especially for a $1200 card after tax. I would expect some level of quality control on a card like this. It’s funny I was just in contact with PowerColor regarding the warranty on this card before it arrived. I spent 4 hours of my own time testing/trying to fix this and have returned for a refund.
