FLIP MFG.Gearbox Fits Kubota RCK72P-28Z RCK72P-F36 RCK72RP-1500Z Replaces K5677-33100 K5677-33105

This product replaced my original Kubota gearbox on a 72" mower deck on my ZD28 zero-turn mower. It seems to be very high quality and it fits perfectly. If you buy it, be aware that this gearbox is shipped dry and that you need to add 80w oil to it before use. There is nothing in the package that I received that states this, and I wrongly assumed that a sealed gearbox would already have gearbox oil in it. Fortunately, I asked Flip Manufacturing this question before using it or I could have burned out a brand new $1300 gearbox. They answered promptly and told me that the gearbox is shipped dry. Unfortunately, I asked the question after I had installed the gearbox and reinstalled the mower deck to the underside of my mower, so now I need to remove the mower deck again from my ZD28 to add the oil which is no fun. Suggest that the manufacturer add a label "Shipped Dry" to the gearbox and/or packaging.

I saved almost $500 by buying this part on Amazon instead of going through the Kubota dealer locally! Great quality - worked perfectly!
