Great bi-pod if you're willing to fix it's problems.
In the stock configuration, any rotational pressure on the bipod will cause the platen the legs protrude from to back off the adjustment knob. This makes the bipod loose and wobble. However, there's an easy fix. Another review mentioned buying a lock washer and nylon washers to improve this and it was spot on. I want to better explain the fix so others can enjoy it.On Lowe's website, I purchased a Hillman 4 count of 5/16" nylon washers (98 cents), a Hillman 5/16" split lock washer (21 cents) and an assortment of faucet washers ($3, but I only used one, so you can save money by buying one).I assembled the bi-pod as normal, with the following exceptions:1 - Between the base plate that attaches to the rifle and the platen that the legs extend from, I added a faucet washer / o-ring. That adds some stiffness to the cant of the rifle when the whole thing is assembled.2 - I did not include the provided spring in the assembly. The screw was too short for the lock washers with the spring in place.3 - After sliding the platen that the legs extend from over the screw, I added first the split ring lock washer, then the nylon washer. I then installed the adjustment knob as normal. I tried to do two nylon washers on either side of the split ring but the screw just wasn't long enough.Doing it this way, the lock washer provides pre-load to the adjustment knob so it stays in place, while the nylon washer provides a slip surface so that the platen can rotate around the central bolt without friction backing off the adjustment knob. This way, I am able to tighten the adjustment knob until the bi-pod will no longer swivel or back it off to allow swivel without the bi-pod becoming wobbly. However, I was not able to completely remove the cant. Under the normal weight of the rifle, the bi-pod will still cant. The faucet washer makes cant stiffer, and takes out the rattle the bi-pod had with the spring removed. I wanted cant, so it doesn't upset me at all, but you should know that ahead of time.A quick twist of the adjustment knob makes it loose enough to swivel as it should, but when the knob is tightened there is NO rattle or movement from the bipod at all.I installed this on my AR-10 build and have about 50 rounds through it with no problems, it's behaving exactly how I want it to both on the bench and prone. I also switched it over to my AR-15 in 300 AAC

Works great, solid construction, and affordable.
I shoot several times a week, all types of firearms from pistols to long range rifles. I have this bipod on two of my rifles and they work great. Depending on what shooting I am doing they are easy enough to put on and take off also.Solidly built out of metal and easy to adjust to any height you want, they make very good bipods for hunting or just target shooting. The photo is of my hunting rifle. I was checking zero for an upcoming hunting trip and used the bipod to help do that. I will take it off for the hunting trip though.Affordable also. While there are much more expensive sets out there, this one does the trick for most applications.

Almost as good as the real deal.
As an owner of a REAL Atlas bipod and another brand knock off one, I can tell you this one is pretty good. Only real complaint I have is the vertical grip didn't lock down the bipod cant very well. Works best when used like a normal Atlas. My other knock off as you tightened it down would stop canting altogether but not so with this unit. I haven't checked this bipod but I do know that real Atlas feet didn't fit my other knock off and I'd bet this one won't either. I like to run spikes for larger caliber guns but it's a non issue on ARs

so, 2 problems I see here. 1. when using the post handle the device becomes loose. i am constantly trying to tighten it and when i do that the bi-pod moves out of position. So maybe a lock tight glue or something on the threads. 2 the notches to adjust the legs from the reset position to the bipod position seems to dig into my grip or webbing of my hand. oh and one more thing, the rubber bottom at the end of each leg fall off pretty easily when i bump it on my hand trying to put the legs back into rest position.

After using this product for a while . I can only say its worth the money.the ring locks on the bi-pod can only last for a few rounds from an AR-15 before collapsing a step or two on one of the sides.the screw in the middle has to be extremely tight to firmly grip and not move. otherwise you'll have to tighten it every round.

ALMOST USABLE WHEN DELIEVERED - TO MANY PROBLEMS!
ALMOST USABLE WHEN DELIEVERED - TO MANY PROBLEMS! A reasonable knockoff, BUT not well executed. The most critical ones: no thread lock on critical fasteners causes the unit to fall apart when in use, when moving gun horizontally the nut loosens, the spring that allows the bipod to work properly vertically and horizontally is to weak, the spring pressure to weak on the legs to keep them from collapsing when being used on a rifle like a 308, improper size of the leg mounting bolt where the shoulder screw attaches to the gun mount, the list goes on and on.
