Very Impressed
I've bought several types of self-assembly bookcases over the years. This was by far the easiest. My husband is talking about stealing this one for his room. The wood finish is absolutely beautiful. I smile every time I walk past it. We will definitely keep this as our go-to for bookcases in the future.

shelf may be best for children's books or paperbacks.when assembled, there are gaps on both sides of the shelves but the unit seems to be solid and steady.The stickers don't come off when peeled - I'll have to get them wet and hope I don't scrub off the print.

Nicer in real life
Super happy with this bookshelf. Easy to assemble. Wood looks great and not cheap. Has nice rustic grain. Heavy duty- holds lot of books with no issue so far. Will be buying a second one.

Hard Wood - Looks Great
The wood is hardwood and the stain on it is great but the back is very lightweight almost like cardboard. I chose not to use it and the sturdiness was just fine without it. Word to the manufacturer - there were large glued on stickers on both sides warning not to allow child to tip over. It might have been better to put the stickers on the cardboard portion rather than the sides that are shown once the bookcase is assembled. Easy to remove with Goo Gone
