Works great for small dog
The media could not be loaded. This product works great to create a safe area for our 2.5 pound Chihuahua puppy. I would recommend this product and purchase it again as it is very easy to put together and looks better than a lot of other gate options. The see-through panels are less of an eyesore than most dog pens I’ve seen.I just would not recommend it for a bigger dog as the sides are somewhat flimsy if you push on them. The only issue we’ve had is with our children pushing/leaning on the edges. It’s not really strong enough to hold up against any pressure or weight. So if you had a bigger dog or kids who like to play rough there’s a chance it could get knocked down or damaged.

Perfect for small animal even bird containment
The media could not be loaded. I have 6 big dogs and don't want them to chase 2 small very young kittens i found who can't defend themselves against big heavy paws and strong noses that want to flip them over and clean them, so had kittens in largest storage tubs I could find , but now they are about 5 weeks old need room to run ,play and climb. So far these are absolutely excellent and when need to separate these non related kittens the clips and walls are easily moved. In one area I put a top panel ,basically to contain heat for them. The wall at far right of image my dogs lean over this wall to watch them and it bent alittle so for reinforcement used zip ties that were included and this Is working fine. I bought 24 panels but technically I could have made this is an L shape using my walls to make a complete square but I have a power outlet and cords I wanted to keep away from kittens so decided to make a complete square and double height for both climbing kittens and curious dogs. One of my dogs decided to ram a corner of this container and a panel collapsed , it snapped in half but the entire containment stayed up with this impact. just replaced the broken wall . Very happy with this product. If you have birds this could be made into a tall /large /wide area for them to move around at a fraction of the cost of large metal cage this would be awesome for them , even fly in. I think with minimal effort a door can be created with zip ties. This was super easy to put together and shape to my needs. Not sure about moving around without it falling apart but if keeping in one place it will stay together without issue just make sure the hardware clips & panels are pushed tighly together. You could even glue it permanently in a certain shape if wanted to make it even more sturdy. It probably won't hold animals that are heavy and would jump on walls like large breed puppies as they aren't that sturdy. Although I think steps can be taken to make it more sturdy fairly easy like pvc pipe as a frame would work keeping this as a very low cost option to keep your babies safe and contained.

Like it so far
So after much agonizing because of the mixed answers to my question on this product I finally made the decision to just try it, it arrived just yesterday so I haven't had a lot of use for it yet but so far I really like it.I got this for my pet duck, I needed something besides our bathtub for her to stay in while we are at work, ducks are extremely messy so I needed something with solid sides so I didn't have to wash the walls every day but a dog crate is both too small and hard to clean so I really didn't want to go that way, an open bar crate would have worked for the easy of cleaning because it has a tray that comes out but I'd have to wash the walls every day so I didn't want to go that way either, though I almost did because of the answers to my question. But I didn't and after I set this up I really like it so far, it was super easy to put together, I used only 8 of the 12 panels so I have left overs, I put her in it in the back room while I was painting it, normally she wears a duck harness with a diaper in it while loose in the house but she had just bathed and wanted to preen, she seemed to like it pretty well, except, two minutes into being in she dumped her water, luckily it was in a shoe tray so it staid contained, though she still managed to get it all over as the shower curtain covering the carpet was soaked, like I said, ducks are extremely messy, but, she had a blast playing in the mess so all you can do it laugh and enjoy the duck antics ;)Best of all, the mess was contained and staid in the playpen. She seemed happy in it until I left, she wanted to follow but couldn't, but, I got to take a shower without her or waiting for someone to be home and watch her (ducks are messy AND needy, they do NOT like being alone) so that was nice. Some things I did to combat its few issues, yes, its a bit weak, I would absolutely not recommend this for someone wanting it for a puppy, honestly just looking at it in the picture I can tell its not strong enough to hold an animal that doesn't respect fences yet, the dog in this picture is quietly sitting, I would trust my lab in it but not a puppy, this is for small animals like rabbits, maybe kittens and the like.My way of helping with its sturdiness was to put it in the corner of the room, so its got two sides covered, the third side I moved my older dogs crate up to the side, so all three sides are covered, the front is the only open side.A suggestion I would like to make to the company, my only real issue, is that its hard to get in and out so maybe adding a gate feature in the original product order would be helpful, when I have to go in to put her in or take her out and clean it I have to take a panel off, which just creates wear and tear on it and makes it easier to break, and to make the seems a different way, as those are the products biggest weakness, a couple got damaged very easy, I am thinking though that I can fix those with the right glue.If not for those two issues, I'd have given this a 5 star rating.Edit; How do I like it now, a bit over a year later? I LOVE it, and, most importantly, so does my duck.I no longer have a big pen set up for her in the spare room but just a small one for her to be in without her harness and while no one is home, this way she has my lab as company and its much easy to clean her pen. I really don't have anymore issues with the panels as they are perfect for this ultra messy and stinky creature, they keep 95% of her poop inside (its wet poop, it does escape sometimes and aimed the right way) and 100% of her food mess off my carpet and wall.I use a hunk of shower curtain on the floor, and a junk towel over that, both come together to protect my floor, her food and water are placed in a shoe tray and she has a second flat dish of water to sit in, cause shes a duck ;)I have to clean them often because of her messy self but they clean very easy, they no longer look nice because of this but they are still in excellent condition. I do wish she wouldn't aim her poopy butt at the corners though as the clips aren't as easy to clean as the panels LOL.I am now upgrading my 4 stars to 5, because I am very happy with these, they were a bit expensive yes, but I am very glad I bought them, if I had gone with a regular dog crate like I had thought about instead of these my life would be very annoying right now.Edit again: Still love them, over two years later. I have ended up breaking a few panels, which SUCKS, but that was entirely my fault, every time was because I was trying to haul the pen to the bathroom to clean, instead of taking it apart like a smart person before bringing them to clean. My duck loves to point her butt to the sides and poop, so I clean them quite often, its a wonder I haven't broken them all at this point. She loves her pen, and I now have her trained to go in when told, well, as trained as a duck will get. Having this pen is a real life saver, though I can't say I would recommend it anymore at the price I see it at right now, I got mine at 45.99 and though that was expensive, I see the price has gone up considerable since I bought it.
